Seriously - you know something I don't? Because if you are talking about breaking the Eibach springs, I don't put much stock in that argument. It's not the Eibach design that failed - it was the metal. Could have been a bad batch of steel or the supplier lied to Eibach about the grade of the steel. If it were a bad design, all springs made for the FX would all fail around the same time after installation, and in the same way (same mode of failure). The absolute worst that I could imagine is that an entire production run of FX springs were made with a bad batch of metal.
I'm a mechanical engineer with a focus in material sciences and I gotta tell the scene - from a statistics standpoint, Eibach reports no more or less failures than H&R. I called both companies prior to purchase to get this info. I feel I need to defend the Eibachs because I have them and they are fine. The reports of springs breaking are few and far between, with no details as to how the spring actually failed.
If you are talking about something other than the breaking, please educate me!
