Picking up a set of GTR wheels. I have a few concerns of and i searched but can't find an exact answer.

Im lowered on H&R cut springs front and shaved rear upper mounts. I'm reading that you have to trim the inner fender well. The metal lip on the inside do you cut that or just roll it up? From where to where do i roll/push it up? The plastic trim has to be cut to also im guessing. I'm going to run the recommended tire sizes i searched on here. 265/50/20 front and 295/45/20 rear.

I remember seeing something on here about the lug nuts but seem to can't find it. Do the factory lug nuts work on the GTR wheels or do i need to get different ones? If yes what brand/place do i get them from?

Thank you all in advance.

Congrats on the wheels!
OK, I'll try to help.

The Fronts should be fine.
The rears will need rolling with a cut spring, but better, I would just pound them up. Make sure you heat it, or the paint will crack at the fold. The plastic can be trimmed with a cutter. Only lose the center fastener for the trim on the roll. It will hold fine with remaining ones lower on the wheel well.
Stock lugs will fit fine.

Highly recommend some coils to go along with this setup.

Here's my roll thread:

gto pretty much nailed everything. One thing I'll add is that you can use double sided tape to make up for trim mount that you lose when cutting that part. Mine is still holding fine.

Not sure how the cut springs will affect things, might just have to do trial and error to see if you rub other places.

Thanks guys. Picked the wheels up today. I have 25mm spacers on the rear. That has to go. Have to find someone good to roll these fenders here in brooklyn ny. Are you guys using the factory lugs or aftermarket. Kinda wana get gold lugs or red.

I've always had aftermarket. I can't remember if Dave used the OEM ones but I know I discussed it with him because I think they will work.

Lol so ill stick with the oem ones and 2 locks on each wheel.

Just for the records, the rear springs aren't cut. I shaved the upper spring seat bushing in half to lower some more.

I bought lugs from Zee. He has plenty of options. Plus, OEM are open ended, and snowy place people sometimes have a rust complaint with open enders.

I got Mutekis from him. No complaints so far but not many opportunities for them either. The Rays I had before had issues with threading so I wanted steel this time, not aluminum.

Haha. Weight save, lol
4+1

I like a 40 in the rear better. Why don't you get a summer tire? Is there something out there good for the fronts in that size, or maybe even upsized at 275? I know it can get tricky to find anything with the staggered set up. I would get yokes for the winter
