GT-R Wheel Swap Doable?

Yes, seems like they would fit EX. I think it's what you are asking right?

Yes, sorry, for an 2011 EX35 application. It seems like from everything I can find that they should fit but I haven't seen any pics or read anything from EX owners who've used them. Lots of good luck on FX's though from what I've seen. Any idea on what the stock 2011 wheels with good tires would be worth when I go to sell them?

Actually sometimes people here are looking for 4 GT-R rear wheels to do the square 10.5" setup on FX.

Okay, this could work out well if any FX owners picked up a set of the premium wheels and wanted to trade.

Update on GT-R wheels for the EX: You'll need 4 GT-R front wheels and it should be a great fitment. The GT-R's rears have the wrong offset and will stick out of the fender around 1.5" beyond flush. It looked worse than the GT-R wheel poking out of the back of the Nissan Juke below (you may have to copy the link URL to see the right side of the pic). GT-R fronts all the way around, at least the "Premium" GT-R wheels, will be sick!

The pre 2012 GTR style front wheels shouldn't be hard to find or trade. I don't know about the post '12 style. Those might take a while to catch up to demand. But you never know

Two wheels down, two to go. The 285's came off of the GT-R rears, went on the GT-R front wheels (9.5" wide) and then onto the EX35's back end. To be an ideal fitment, they'd be inset about 1/8"-1/4" from where they are but I can't complain - they look mean! It seems like they poke just about as much as the GT-R rear wheels do on the FX's.

It rides better. The car seems to have an easier time turning these wheels and there is no loss of traction under hard acceleration now. Feels like I managed to cut unsprung weight but I wasn't sure that was going to be the case with these GT=R OEM runflats.

Edited to add: did a quick bathroom scale weigh of the EX 18's with OEM 225's and they came in at around 52 lbs and change so I doubt I cut any unsprung weight.

Thanks, guys. It looks like the set up I just put on are (EDIT:) 63.2 lbs. per corner vs. around 52 lbs. for the stock 18's so unsprung weight is up but it feels/ rides better? Hope the MPGs don't fall much.

No but there is a site that has gathered up all of the GTR wheel and tire weights and I was able to figure out what the 285 tire and the 9.5" wheel weighed. I did weigh one of the 255 tires and it came in just under what the site had for the same tire so it's close if not right on. I guess the stiffer side walls make the tires heavier? I'll go with non run-flats when it's time for new tires.

Here is the data from their site. Premium style wheels are the ones I have and they are 1.5 lbs. heavier each than the black edition GTR wheels...

Black Edition 20" Factory Wheel w/ Tire Weighed in at:
Front: 60 lbs / Back: 65 lbs

2012/2013 Premium Wheel weight
Fronts = 25lbs
Rears = 27lbs

I found another site with more precise (and lighter) numbers quoted for both the 2013 front premium GTR wheel: 24.2 lbs. and the 285 tire: 39 lbs. so it may be better (63.2 lbs. each out back).

Yeah, run flats are HEAVY, HEAVY (and bitch to remove). With regular tires (if you stay low pro) you should run around 55lbs......
