After giving it some thoughts me and my girl came up with the idea of getting a Different vehicle.. i love my 05 FX35 but the new model havent grow on me a bit.. so i dont think ill be getting a infiniti vehicle(for now).. im just thinking about finishing up paying it and move on..

i'll be getting the new chevy Volt as a daily drive and probably a year from that the Audi A8 TDI prestige pkg.

maybe after i bounce back from all that $$$$ i'll buy a 1st 06 FX as a project car...!!!!

I just Love the First Gen FX!!

tell me what you think guys.. getting the Audi is not set in stone yet..
 
Don't sell it man.................................Hey, have to do what you have to do. If I drove a lot more I'd buy a third car.
 
Ken that sounds great... i actually brought that up as a option(due to the fact that i love my FX) to my girl.. i brought a plan up to keep the FX once i paid it and keep saving the payment im making on it right now for a year or so to put it down as a down payment.. for our next car.. we still talking about it..
 
keep giving me great ideas.. i being talking to her and im winning the battle of not selling it....

doc im really trying not to let her go...

it sounds to me your FX holds more sentimental value than what any dealer could give you for a trade-in. keep it and pay it off then save and buy something else. :biggrin:

well me and my girl are developing this plan which include having 2 brand new vehicles. one fuel efficient daily drive(Volt) and a bigger luxury SUV for weekends, utilities and long family trips(possible the Q7)

so me trading in my FX for a 08 wont help much on accomplishing the 2 goals i mentioned..
so my girl brought up to use my FX as a trade in once i finished paying it.. but i dont really want to sell my FX.. right now her father leased her a 2010 accord.. so i brought up the fact that i can finish paying my FX within a few more months.. so the payment im making on it i once im done paying it can go into a saving account, so once the leased honda is gone we can buy the Volt and we still will have 2 vehicles if we dont get rid off my FX.


till now im spitting out facts so im winning the not selling the FX part..:tongue (2):
 
I don't know about you, but I'd rather drive an old fx than a brand new econobox. you want to drive a volt??? fuel efficiency is bull, just figure out exactly how much $$ you'd save per year for fuel, then figure out how much cheaper it is to keep the fx vs buying a new car including the financing, taxes & insurance & you'll probably see it's much cheaper to keep the fx despite the difference in fuel economy. just get her a nice car & tell her you're keeping the fx I'd say :)
