Love it! 35% on the front with the 15% factory tint in the rear. I didn't want to go darker for obvious ticket reasons even though 35% in NY is still illegal. I may do the windshield in 35% too.

looks good.... 35 on the front winshield will be DARK. Look out your side windows at night thats what it will be driving all the time at night. I did it before I would never go less then 50 on the front. Besides that all my cop friends say go as dark as you want on the side, but if you do the front your getting pulled over all the time.
35% on the sides is good, that's what I always get done the first week of ownership. For me anything darker is too dark to look out at night.

If you do the Windshield, you will be hit with so many tickets. It is so illegal that police cars laugh when they pull you over

I've already got a whole bunch of tickets for my front windows, so its whatever lol. I'm not going to sacrifice looks just cause cops have to act like an ass about my windows. I'm getting the windshield done in 50%.

good luck and hopefully you don't get hit hard with ticket in NY. Word of advice is if you already get alot of tickets it will affect your insurance premium and possibly your license, but thats a risk your willing to take so good luck.

ive never gotten a tint ticket, and my friend with 5's on the window and 50 on the windshield hasnt gotten a ticket

guy at the tint shop showed me his car with 50% tint on the front. In person, you can barely tell the tint is there if u have a light interior but if yours is dark, it might seem a be a bit darker. Regardless, I think 50% should be fine--its light enough to where if u open the sunroof, it shouldnt be a problem if u get pulled over unless the cop is anal about it. The tint shop guy advised not to go darker than 50% Here is his car. I think it looks pretty good

Our Tahoe has 5% all around and a windshield brow. Not sure why, the tint shop doubled the distance of the DOT line on it. I would do the same to my FX however I worry that it will interfere with the tech sensors.
