Goodbye FX

I had it in the garage and my roof started to collapse. Had no choice but to park it outside and a power line falls on it and smashes the right side. 20 minutes later a gigatic tree fell on it and now it's raining on the interior:

Goodbye my love:disapointed:

Omg glad your ok, that really bites. It doesn't seem that car is totaled though, insurance will def take care of that. Sorry for your bad luck man

Wow, so sorry to see that. Hopefully that is the worst you will get. Fingers crossed for you!!

RIPnFX - I would not want it after its been rained in like that. Some things just dont "clean up" the same....

Wow that is terrible luck. Guess that's why people evacuate, just to get away from anything that can go wrong. Pat had a tree fall on his and he got it fixed, but his damage may not have been as bad. With those power lines you can't even move the tree off and at least try to cover up any holes where water could get in.

Damm that sucks so sorry for your loss are you and your family OK? is your garage attached and is your house OK?
First :iS: family member affected by Sandy.

wow,.. I should worry about the 57th street crane dangling now... fx can be repaired, be safe dude.

oh wowwww..... Sorry to hear man.

(I know this sounds grim, I'm sorry to say - but a write-off is the best case scenario with that kind of damage. You don't want that claim on the vehicle's history..)

Ya that's what I meant, since its water damage inside, insurance should take care of it with a new one

Thanks everyone. My family is safe inside right now. Atleast no one is hurt. I don't want to go outside and check or mess with the car cause the wind gusts are so bad I'm worried something might fall on me.

Honestly I don't want the car anymore after it raining on the inside and all the stuff that has happened to it in the past few months. I'm really shaky right now and really don't know what to do.

The really bad part about this is that I was one of those people that laughed it off that the media was over exaggerating this storm like they normally do with things that happen here.

PLEASE ANY NY :iS: MEMEBERS PLEASE I BEG YOU TO STAY INSIDE. THIS STORM IS NO JOKE AT ALL. NO PROPERTY IS WORTH RISKING LIVES!!!!!!!!

That sucks, but at least you're safe. I live in FL so I've ridden out a few tropical storms and hurricanes. I remember a few years ago watching my garage door bend in and out like it was breathing because of the wind. I thought it was going to rip my house apart. If they tell me to evacuate now, I pay attention.

Yeah man stay safe. New York and the northern places aren't as adept at riding out storms as us Floridians are. Be careful, They can get nasty.
