Hey guys! I was looking for the proper rims and i finally decided on the Gianelle spidero 5, but I am confused between the 20s and 22s. I dont want it to affect the performance of my ride. Any opinions?? thx:)

Unless they are the same weight then your performance could be effected negatively or positively. So your first check should be weight of your candidate wheels. If lighter, performance should be positive, if heavier then that will probably effect your performance negatively. Their are also other attributes, but I think I would start with weight.

Welcome to the site, and I vote 22's with that style....pure hotness.... But, save some money for a BBK.

You will definitely lose some performance depending on weight.

yea i was checking the weight of the 22s but i couldnt find any site that stated the weight, does anyone know the weight of the stock 20' rims of the 2009 fx thx again guys.

There's 20s as well. I think for 35, 18" is standard, 20" & 21" is optional. For 50, 20" is standard, 21" is optional..

22s are definitely heavier but they look so good. Performance wise, there's a little loss at the low end with heavier wheels but it disappears as soon as the torque picks up.

I say before even getting new wheels, lower your FX. The 20" stockers look so good with lowering and 20mm spacers. If you get thinner tires as well, it'll both look good (albeit stock) and perform well..

On the other side, no 20" wheel will look as good as Spideros on 22s :.smile:

Did you ever get the Gianelle Spidero's? If so, post some pic's. I am thinking of swaping my wheels also (I am picking up an 09 FX35 next week w/stock 18's). Really like the look of the Gianelle Spidero's, but would really like to see it on a 09 FX before deciding. Let me know.
