GEE35FX's Route 66 Road Trip

Hi fellow IS'ers, I finally got my IPad figured out and how to post pics, so I thought I would get a start on my trip.

Karen and I travelled to Michigan from Ontario our first day. We made sure we made a stop at jdtraders house. We had a nice visit with Jonas Nd Kim and their new baby girl Gabrielle. She is a sweetie.

Here is a pic I love with Kim and Gabby, she is such a contented baby.



When I pulled into Jonas's driveway I was shocked, he has the front aero spoiler installed, it looked awesome, he didn't tell any of us that he had purchased it and installed it himself.

Aiya had contacted me about the IS Travelling Bear. I was already leaving home for my trip, so he overnight shipped it from New York to Michigan to Jonas's house, where I picked him up. Thanks a bunch Aiya for the great pics and getting Bear off to me.

Bear was checking out Jonas's new front spoiler.


I almost drove into Jonas, but Bear saved the day and jumped down between us and held us apart with his super-powers.

You should had seen Wayne getting close to my FX....what you don't see is his front license plate AND thick license plate frame since the bear is in front of it, so it's probably just an inch or two apart. Car idles forward a lot faster than even a few inches a second and the final idle to come near I told Wayne to stop when he was about a foot out and lol look where he got! You should had seen Karen's face when he Wayne braked....and Wayne's like no worries, I got a license plate with two nice bolts to protect me! lol

one other big one...bigger than the front aero lip because most 2nd gens don't have it. Wayne saw it. I'll post about it soon. I was trying to get several mods done and then post about them all at once, but two other remaining mods are taking a bit longer than anticipated...

Actually I take that back, 3 mods have been done so far (2 in queue that may not pan out). 1 exterior aero done and the other two interior mods 1 being significant. Both interior mods can be seen in Wayne's pics if you are really looking. I'll make sure to tell you guys in another thread.

Love the 2 FX's nose to nose with just ummmm " Fuji " seperating the FX's .......... though not for nothing the picture of Gabrielle and Mommy was very sweet :smile (2):
