At least your guys lights work. Right now mine are $30 slot holders. :mad.:
Come on up to Big Bear this weekend and we can take a look.At least your guys lights work. Right now mine are $30 slot holders. :mad.:
& I admit, I was waiting to see them at work. sorry test rats. Call it, all in the name of development. Hopefully this issue gets worked out, but I dont really see the workaround.
I noticed that too at first. Thought I put the bulb in crooked. Lights that don't scatter light don't work well in our cars. Once it gets dark I'm going to test out mine, and see if the look is worth the blindness.I just tested out the reverse lights in the dark and am not impressed. I think the OEM bulbs work better. Our bulb socket is naturally pointed slightly outward, but it doesn't matter with OEM bulbs because the reflector directs most of the light behind the car. With these LED's, the light is all directed outward and concentrated in one area instead of behind you. I think the OEM filament bulb or a wedge LED is a better option for the reverse lights.
Let me apologize for this problem, I am currently having a tech from R&D figuring this out. I have a local FX35 coming in tomorrow to test all wattage problems and see what the issue is.
For all TL that uses 9005/9006 there is no problem. But I will sure get this fixed.
Other than this issue, a few more sets of replacements are currently being sent off. Will keep everything posted. Thank you. Again apologies for the flickering issues.
The stock DTRL bulbs are 5 watt so I'm wondering what the DTRL relay is rated for?
All I could find was that it is called out as ---E-15 Relay.
I'm going to take my flickering bulb and hook it straight to a power source and see if flicker comes back tonight.I just tried to check the size of the DTRL relay and I located the coccect labeled cover that said DTRL relay on it. But to my surprize when I opened it there was no relay. Guess this relay is only for canadian applications?

Can you guys get the pin connectors sorted out so we don't have to mess with them? I still can't my bulbs to even light up, and I think it has to do with the connectors.
Hook them up directly to your battery and see if they work.

I have a hunch you guys with the infiniti might need resistors/modules to solve your flickering issues. LED bulb uses less power then the normal reverse bulb so the cars computer can be thinking the bulb is out which starts the flickering. This is why the TL needs the $35 module.
