After a few research, poking around the forum and asking members about their setup. I finally did mine too. Megan Racing borrowed our FX for test fit of the coilovers for the FX35 AWD 2nd Gen. Also they gave me a set of redgwheels that they use for their test cars. Even before this, I have a tight relationship with the people at MR. I was talking to their fabricator yesterday about the need of camber correction for the FX35 Gen2. It will come, I just hope sooner than later. If anyone wants to help with it, If anyone has a set of rear stock arms that we can send to them, that will be a start. You can PM me - ( I don't work for MR, I just know them personally) I picked a 20x9 +10 and a 20x10 +20 staggered Redgwheels R100 with 265/50/20 all around (square setup). I kinda went on my own decision to get this offset/size. I know it's a little aggressive, but I think the gamble paid off. It sits pretty good - but that's just me. Here are some pictures. Tell me what you guys think, opinions and stuff. I can also take negative comments don't worry.

Here's the MR Coilover set - Spring rates are 12kg Front and 11kg rear. I had mine on the softest settings and it rides smoother than stock suspension.

Feel free to ask if you have questions. I also would like to Thank shadow191 and baias6230 for answering all my questions in my other thread: https://www.infinitiscene.com/search/1/?q=19280-Wheel-Tire-question-need-help-and-suggestions

Here's the front coilover installed

This is the knob to adjust the settings on the coilovers, I believe it's 16 clicks.

That looks GREAT!!!!

Which Megan Racing coil overs are those? - part number, price, etc.... on the site there are a few types. but only 1 type listed for the FX and its only 03-08...did you use those? (or are they not available yet since you did the test fit? any idea on when they'll be avail?

Im guessing these will work with the FX50 (AWD) as well?

Let us know how it feels after a few days. I know you have it on the softest setting, etc. but did you try it on stiffer settings?
How much lower can you go/where are you compared to how high/low you can go?
The camber doesnt look terrible from the pics, did they correct it or does it just look good?

Info would be great! I told myself I wouldnt lower a car again unless it was with coil overs...

The wheels also look great man. Closeup? 22" prob would have looked a little better but I know they only go up to 20.... the lips amke them look like 19's. Looks great though!

Looks awesome, how bad is the camber? I have springs and I'm having inner tire wear and that's with only 1.3 drop. Wheels look sick but look small, I agree with jbaker 22's would have been killer.

yeah 22's would be ideal, but 20's are not bad either. at least you get some meat on the tires. i'll get the part numbers out as soon as they are ready to release it to public. i haven't tried the stiffer settings yet, i'll play with it tomorrow and report back. i like the soft settings right now, it took away the "sporty" feeling of the fx. it rides pretty good with the soft settings. i can go another 4 inches if i wanted to. but i'm trying to be a little conservative on the height.

rear camber looks really really harsh from the last pic.

the camber doesn't look that bad at the height i set it as. but i'll find a camber gauge and check it. i haven't got alignment yet, i'm waiting to see at what height i want to set it at.

thanks!

Looks perfect man!!
Props to you on getting MR to get a set of coilovers going for the 2gen. Nice choice on wheels. They actually look like Lerry's HRE's but with a bigger lip.. and obviously not 22" if I'm not mistaken.

Overall, I like it. Only thing is maybe swap out the front for a smaller tire or the rear for a bigger one. The front tire looks "bulgy" relative to the rear since the stretch is uneven. I don't think the 20"s look that small, if there were less wheel gap, they would look perfect. The lip and relatively aggressive offsets make them look better than a sunken in OEM 20".

Looking good. Great job:good:

PS BC Racing coilovers for FX35/FX37 AWD/RWD and FX50s are available for quite some time now.

Congratulations on the new coilovers and rims.....The coilovers look like jewelry...its elegance in simplicity...and I like the rims...the 20's I think is a good compromise between looks, sportiness and utility. Your rims really set off the FX nicely...its not too busy. I always like understated elegance...theres just so much classiness when you practice a lil restrain in modifying any car since its's just too easy to overdo it. I think the FX35 in oem 20s with the oem suspension can get harsh at times(and this is coming from a guy that has modified 98% of all the cars I have owned) I think a better set of matched springs or coilovers would really benefit the looks, the ride and the handling of the FX like I think it should. With a variable valve and height adjustment you can still lower the car and dial most of the harshness still but of course this will take a lot of testing and adjustments to suit the ride and handling you are looking for....now if someone can just come out with those darn Camber Kits so I can buy my coilovers already.
