Here is the development thread for this grounding kit. Since the kits will be ready in the next six weeks or so, I thought we could get a GB list going. Direct any questions about the kit to the thread:

///7360

Just copy and paste the below list into your response, then add your name. I'll contact you for payment and shipping info in early December. Hope you get it in time for the holidays.

1. Jumbo - carbon
2. Dopie - red
3. Bklynjohn718 - carbon
4. Stulax18 - color?
5. White_Hair - carbon

I don't think it should be more than $120, IMO. The material is very cheap. The cable from the cable vendor I have been dealing with @ work will normally be $2 ~ 3 per foot. The compression terminal will be about $1 ~ $3 each. Heat shrink buy in bulk is just cheaper about 300 ~ 1000 ft @ $0.3 and $0.5 per foot each (regular not special color). It is the labor that is expensive. I rather to have the professional does it right with a bit of higher price than just some low self-made quality work.

I agree - it shouldn't be more than that. Probably less. First discussion was $80 - $100, shipped.

Yo Dope - Jumbo = Brad, but Jumbo is fine - people around the office even call me that, lol.

We're all getting Inifiniti Scene discounts on the price. The shop is bumping up the price $20 for the "normal" price. We get a discount from being IS members. In order to get the additional group buy discount, we need 10 people signed up. Looks like we don't have enough to get a group buy anyway so whenever you are back in the market for those RED HOT grounding wires, just drop me a PM. They should still be the special IS price.

The first kit will be shipped to me by the end of the week to check fitment and take install photos. Looks like we should all have our kits before the holidays!

Hey all - yeah, the prototype kit arrived at my house on Friday. I will take some photos and post. Was out of town this weekend or I would have been all over the install.

The fab guy asked me to take installation photos - sort of DIY style, so that he could put together an installation instruction. I need a couple hours to do it right so hopefully I can get to it during the week - or at the latest this weekend.

You guys put in the order yet?

EDIT: I just saw that you were shooting for a December delivery.:frown: Can I still get one of these?

Actually yeah - I have been totally slacking!

I have the kit installed - except for the transmission ECU ground. The goal all along was to fully document the install and use that as installation instructions to be shipped along with the kit. Because I have so many other mods, this isn't as practical to do - my engine bay doesn't look like a stock bay and so wouldn't be as representative. I've sort of back burnered it - but the shop that makes these would be willing to deliver full orders now. The group buy was never initiated so if you want to add your name to the list we can try to revive the GB. I can email the shop today if there is enough interest.

Difficult to see both - but there are two kit ground wires in this photo. Both are connected to the battery negative. One goes to the TB ground and the other goes to the passenger side strut tower - behind the power steering fluid reservoir.

In this next photo, I have un-bolted the power steering reservoir and connected the kit wire from the battery negative.

Then another kit wire is connected to the same point and run to the crank case. I have also moved two other OEM harness grounds to this point. The next kit wire connects to this point as well - and runs to the right for connection to the driver side strut tower OEM ground point.

Here's the driver side strut tower connection:

It is a pretty easy install - no observed changes in anything so far.

Here's a shot of the bay - you can see every ground in this picture (except for the one not installed yet, of course).
