front end thump sound

ok frist thing im pushing 87k miles right now on my 04 and lating i been getting this front end problem..its a few problem right now frist thing i cant keep this fx to drive stright anymore i know my front tires need to be replace but this fx pulls from both sides lol..second problem i get this thump sound if i go thru some pot hole idk if its the control arm or ball joints or shocks..and thrid if im park and i turn my streeling wheel right too left i could hear that thump sound..i had the car for about 2 year any better never did any fron end work im guess is time for it now..so right now i think my ball joints my need to be replace

I have the same noise and I replaced my shocks and shock mount and still have he noise

yes it do sound like its you ball joints need to be look at. yes fx have a reputation when it come to pulling

Possible of worn strut bearings, search for it on iS.

I would try the stabilizer link on that side.

Any common problem with the front end I'm about order some ball joints I wanna get everything done right the first time Lol

So I had the thumping when turning the wheel left to right and it ended up being the stabilizer link. If you're getting it on the up and down as well, then you might have a couple issues.

there's 2 common problem with the fx 03-08. ft stablelizer links and outer tie rods end.

yea i was turn the wheel left and right when i was parked and all i hear this thump sound can the stabilizer link cause the fx too pull as well

strut bearings usually but check your swar bar bushings too

ok i was on ebay looking at for stabilizer link and differnt stuff show up im not to sure what im looking for is there a pic or part number on what im looking for and a good site

I would say tie rod, to check get her up in the air with a jack and pull/push at the bottom of the tire, if it moves-wiggles its time to replace to correct the play.

Wasn't there also a fender bolt that came loose on early first gens causing a thump sound as well?

The fender bolt problem was creaking noise as I recalled.

i had similar I think something either the stabilizer link or strut maybe in mines tho.

Btw angel have u ever tighten that bolt underneath the driver side wheel? Coz u said fx pulls or could most likely be you need to start working on the tires first (seriously)
