So i went to a couple of sites and it seems like infiniti of englewood has the best price for the front chin spoiler.

here is the link: http://infinitiofenglewoodparts.com...7&catalogid=212&overlayExtids=&overlayIntids=
the cost of 409.20 seems pretty good. What do you guys think. It is labeled as front chin protect so i am taking that as front chin spoiler and i have the platinum graphite fx so i choose the dark silver front protect.

It's 372.00 but with tax it comes to 409.20, why do they call it a front protector and not a front chin spoiler, thats what has me confused.

looking to get one as well, same color as you let me know how it looks. Good dealership to work with thats where i bought my FX they took very good care of me

Nice find! Its only $37 to ship as well! I am going to retrofit one of these to my Gen 1.. Was hoping to find a damaged one for super cheap from someone but this isn't to bad either..

Definately won't work. If you've seen the front lip in person it has too many bends and cut outs to even try and make it adaptable to a 1st gen even with a lot of hacking. I forget where I've seen it before but I remember Turbocad saying it won't work either. You'll just be throwing money down the toilet.

I have not seen one in person.. I asked a lil while back but nobody really knew/tried it.. I tried my local dealer so I could just take it outside and line it up/take a look but they didn't have one in stock and I had to pay for it upfront for them to order it.. Thanks for the input.. now I can use that towards something else!

That is still an option, I just wanted to do something "different"

I would still give it a shot if I could find a damaged one though (aka cheap) my brother in law does body/paint work and we barter for labor so I really wouldn't have anything into it out of pocket except initial part and his cost for the paint....

I just bought mine, now to get it repainted.

Soo cool !!! What color FX do you ..... like mines also UGH :bulgy-eyes: ?? Pain in the aassssss that we gotta still get it painted but oh well ?? I'm hoping to purchase mine soon and get it repainted too !!! Good luck with yours !!

Hmmm. Not sure why jimmy repainted but you should not have to.... hopefully he'll chime in and clarify the statement, it was a bit ambiguous.

I can assure you I won't be ordering one if I have to repaint :) I'm 50/50 on the lip, really on the fence about it. I like the look of the car either way. But having to repaint and the extra cost just kinda makes me lean towards staying stock.

If the paint it comes with is a match (as it should be) then I'll probably pick one up soon.
