Fire0nic3FX's 2006 Infiniti G35 Sedan Picture Thread

So I had the exhaust installed at High End Performance in Farmingdale yesterday morning. I attempted to I install it myself and failed miserably. The bolts were so rusted that they were circle shape instead of hex shaped because the edges were corroded. We also discovered the flanges had a major leak before and the idiot previous owner had the flanges welded together so the exhaust was almost permanently attached to the Y pipe. Took 3 hours just to get the old midpipe and exhaust off the Y pipe. No way I could of tackled this myself. They specialize in this and even the shop had a hard time removing the crap old exhaust. Also the flange was cut off on the old muffler and a patch was welded. Notice no flange in the bottom left corner of this picture:



And new exhaust installed:

Thank you guys I'm very happy with the exhaust. Sounds just like stock but louder. I do have a little bit of drone but I'm going to do some deadening to rid of it. But it isn't that bad.

Lol even though its my "beater" I'll stick take care of it.

After springs and some other things I think I'm going to hold off on modding for a while. While washing it today I notice the paint has some pretty terrible chipping all over it. I'm thinking about getting the whole car resprayed again. Decisions decisions......

lol so much for it being a beater! love the sound. usually sedans dont have that sound.

Yeah the sedan is quiet compared to the coupe. That's why an exhaust was my number one priority for this car.
