Finally Got Tuned

Hello all,

Haven't been here for a loooong time.
Well today got my FX tuned by Uprev from JDS Motoring (they are located in NJ).
They street tuned my car since they didn't have the all-wheel dyno.
List of performance mods I have on my FX:

- Stillen High Flow Intake Kit w/ Z-Tube
- 5/16 Motordyne Iso Thermal Copper Plenum Spacer
- Invidia Test Pipes (Installed/welded 2 extra resonators to the exhaust piping so it is nicely toned)
- Invidia Gemini Exhaust
- Running all synthetic oils

So they gave me 4 maps/modes I can choose from.
1. Tuned Mode
2. Valet Mode (Car will only drive no more than 10mph)
3. Kill Map Mode (Car won't start)
4. Stock Mode (Will never use this mode lol)

I can clearly feel the difference when driving.
The guy said my car was running lean.
After the tune, it drives great.
I feel the smoothness and increased HP and Torque throughout all the RPM range.
Also, MPG went up as well.
I was cruising about 60-65mph on highway for 50 miles and I got up to 27mpg.
Not only that I can now fully use the 93 octane.
Overall, no regrets whatsoever.
Will post more reviews as I still need to get adjusted to this new characteristic.

Since I got the street tune there is no actual dyno result...
I need to get the FX on dyno to see the numbers

wow thats cool. is there any wiring need to be done for that to work? hw do you know what map your in?

No wiring needed. When I am choosing the map, the 'set' light will blink.

The leaness was most likely caused by your undialed breather mods, glad you are digging the tune. 27MPG, nice! must be like driving a Prius if you can keep your foot out of it =) Out of the many tunes I have had done the most noticeable was my first street tune after my second round of performance mods. Most of the tuning is fairly basic (especially for the 35's due to all the tuning work that has been done on the Z's over time) and it really makes a difference. Give it a couple of days to settle in, it may run smoother and better still.....

Logan, yes the car was running lean due to undialed breather mod such as the plenum spacer. MPG wise on highway, can't beat 27mpg for FX =) Love the tune!

awesome, I take it's an UpRev tuning (if so, license is transferable?). Who should I ask for if I decide for the same tune? I have similar setup as your FX.
