Hey guys ive had the bubble monster come back for the second time now and im out of factory warranty(extended wont cover replacement) on the dash. The bubbling is pretty bad but it seems to be contained to the very top side only soooo i think id be able to get away with a dash cover for the time being....... I was wondering if any of you guys use or have any good dash covers, any good recommendations . Some Pics would be great!!! I dont mind payin alot for a nice one since it is a pretty important piece. Thanks in advance guys!!!

would you guys call the "black" interior black or charcoal?

what exactly is bubbling? i see people talking about bubbles forming on the dashboard but does anyone have pics?

I almost started a new thread on this - glad I searched first. Definitely interested in a dash cover out there and available. Would rather not do a custom upholstery job but might go that direction because the dealer fix is SO expensive.

I'm attempting to develop a cover just for fun:

Just please don't get the thing that looks like carpet on the dash. Haha, I know people in hotter climates get those, I guess because they don't their dash to mess up.

I found a black suede one that im probobly going to get its about $60 and it looks pretty nice. I sent an email to the company trying to confirm it has all the cutouts on the dash for the speakers and what not. It doesnt show a pic of it on the FX and its hard to find an fx with a pic of the dash cover on it anywhere. Usually its a stock photo of some random car

Like I said - just screwing around with this idea...

Still need to figure out how to transfer the vents and speaker cut outs accurately. It looks like I'll be able to tuck the edges of this material into the frame of the vents and speaker grills. Right now the material is cut roughly and about 2 inches larger in all directions than I really need. Spending about an hour on this each night.

I talked to the rep from the place i was gonna get a suede dash mat from and i asked if the mat had the cut out for the speakers and vents and he said that no company makes them with cutouts? (I laughed) He then went on to tell me that just using the mat without cutouts will not effect sound quality? (I hung up) so no progress on a nice dash cover yet?!?!

What is this product? Can you post the site link?

Depending on the material, it might not need cut-outs. Plenty of materials are considered, "acoustically transparent" just like the fabric that covers most home speakers. I would not yet count out this option, and I'd like to check it out for myself. Can you show me where it is?

Half year ago I've promised to place my friend's custom dash cover photos:

here they are:

Maybe speaker don't fit perfect but with some skills it can be done to look like OEM.
