So I went to big bear last year with my gf. We saw this steep and narrow hill, full of mud, holes and ice. So i decided i should get to the top. Note: usually you see lifted 4x4 pick up trucks going up there. So i told my gf to hold on, turned VDC off and with 50%tires left all around gunned it to the top. For a moment i was scared shitless because i was so close to the edge of the mountain that if i went over it was full 70 feet drop. I finally did go up but there was no way to bust U or turn around. So i had to come back down in reverse!! Never again! but worth the adrenaline rush. My default avatar pic was shot on that day and as you can see my tires were full of mud!

Your turn..

Central PA, dead of winter, drove "up to the mountain" with my hick friends, them all in trucks etc, it was pavement for a while so I was fine. We got to the dirt portion and they were talking smack, so I followed them. Was driving on solid ice - only problem was, their tires fit in the ruts left by other cars, so they wre okay. My tires were too wide. I still made it, one of them spun out into the ditch. Doesn;t sound too exciting but it was a rush....

of course, I won't mention all the things I;ve done in the middle of the night that may have been illegal involving my car and a speed that was over the legal limit ;)

One day, I was at a friend's shop. Spotted aiya's ride and removed his white emblem out of jealousy.

{story is fiction}

Was at probably the same shop, saw some white Rotoras being painted. Just the base coat was drying and I left my fingerprint in it before the clear went on, but didn't tell the painter.

crap, posted on a wrong thread: tho it was a " Craziest thing you've done to an FX ", my bad.

Taking a turn in the winter in the subdivision going way too fast I lost complete control of the steering and brakes and landed just a few feet from a house's brick wall. Any faster and I would had gone through the wall. I was with my wife.

That week I bought snow tires.

Drove from San Diego to Big Bear with a queen size mattress and box springs and a large antique wall mirror between them tied to the roof of the FX.
Found out pretty quick that this may be problematic. At the very first freeway on ramp leaving San Diego the mirror slid out the back and shattered all over the ramp. The rest of the trip wasn't much better. No matter how hard I tried to tie them down tightly the wind would get between and under the mattress and lift them. So we had to hold the front down with an arm out the window all the way to Big Bear.

backseat in the old FX got a little too sweaty and had wrinkles (had zero before) after doing a few things back there. Haven't done the same in the new FX...to avoid messing up the seats ;) dat resale value

So what's the story , Aaron? I do remember something about curly hair on the front seat that you mentioned. Let's hear it. :laugh:
