Car got hit on the front :(

Found out the car got hit on Sunday when I was out somewhere. Left it in a parking lot at the store for 2 hours. I didn't even know it got hit today until I washed it. Why do people got to be so careless and disrespectful to other peoples things :dontknow:

I would never treat someone elses stuff like that. It disgusts me. This isn't a joke either. This stuff really burns me up.:motz:

Here in the picture you can tell it's a liscence plate screw that did it. For some reason my camera won't pick it up but they punctured a hole through my bumper:

And below that hole is another damaged area they did. They actually removed all the paint down to the primer and now the area is peeling. My camera also didn't pick it up but it's dented too. Have to look at it from the side:

They could of done the right thing and waited for me to come out and say hey I'm sorry but I hit your car....... One word karma and when it does get back to them it'll be worse.


Sorry for the rant. It's not really the damage that bothers me it's the fact that people do this then leave the scene. So careless.....
 
Ouch. Sorry to hear that. You sure that it was from that parking lot and not a rock chip from driving down the highway ? Also aren't you having Turbo paint your other bumper? Still sucks and I feel the same way too about people. I park so far away whenever me and the g/f go anywhere. Last the I want is a big door ding
 
I did buy a new bumper but the seller forgot to tell me the tabs were broken so I got a refund. Just going to order a brand new bumper and have Turbocad repaint for me.

It definately wasn't a rockchip as I wasn't on the highway that day plus I would of heard it. For a rock to do that kind of damage it would have to be probably hard and loud. Also the damaged area is a perfect circle.
 
I had a kid rear end me and left two license plate holes, I let him go...although his Filipino grandma(passenger) needed a slap.

Damn that sucks. It's these kind of stories that make me wanna put on the big bull guards on the bumpers. They look like crap but atleast they protect your car, especially in nyc.
 
like others said, sux to see this sorta things happen. reality check, you cant have nice things in the city unattended. it's inevitable...

easy fix tho, my guess is to sand down, plastic weld fill, resand, prime and paint. I wouldn't spend the $$$ for a brand new bumper.

Last week, my mom's 2012 G37 was in a hit & run. Parking lot deal. Needed new door & rear quarter work. Some people are mean out there

That sucks. One day I was sitting in my car waiting for my wife while she went into Costco
this lady pulled in the spot next to me and her front bumper went right under the rear bumper of an older dodge ram. The lady didn't even bother pulling back. Just left it there sitting in te guys ass and went shopping.
