Can't Car Wash At Home?!!! LAW!!! TICKET!!!!!

I think the law says you cant run off into the storm drains. At least in CA. So you need to either do it in your lawn, or on a super hot day so the water evaporates before it gets there. I havent heard of it actually being enforced, except during times when they ban car washing all together.
 
well they are saying that not in public presence! meaning if u close off ur drive way out of the public view then its ok

but not in a open drive way so practically inside the garage~~~ its ok

not about the runny water its about the scenery!!!! lol

soon bbq will be illegal in public view~~~ stanky pork chops
 
This video surfaced a few months ago, i don't remember the whole story but what happened was that the guy in the video washing his car is kind of sketch.

Essentially the neighbors started getting suspicious when this guy would have a different car in his driveway without any plates every week. There were also stories about him being a jerk and basically racing around the neighborhood. The cops were notified, and they used the washing your car at home as an excuse to investigate further. Basically the video posted is kind of misleading...
 
I want to try ONR . I'm just having a hard time accepting that I'm not scratching the paint when I use it on a dry car

It works Ian. Wayne made a believer out of me. I have the regular one and the one with wax. Of course, you don't want to use it on car that covered in road salt in the winter time.
 
ONR sounds scary lol. but seems to have lots of vouchers on here. I am guessing it has its own thread somewhere. Do you still continue your regular wax regimen?

WOW with all that salt and snow in Chicago, you haven't washed your car at all? When salt is on the road, washing your car is essential in combating corrosion and maintaining the value of the car. When the temperature gets above 40F corrosion starts. One of the worst things you can do is park your car in a warm garage for the night after driving on salt cover roads all day.
