Ok. Since you asked, I'll give my review...

Pros.
1. Lambo doors are Show stoppers. They attract almost anyone for a second look. I even had a cop turn around for second look. Specially attractive for older ladies:wink:
2. It's cool for those very small "compact" parking spots. All you need is about 10" to 12" to get out.
3. They are OK once you're used to them, which is right around the same time to think to you're self I should have gotten the headers instead.
3. Can't think of anything else.

Cons:

1. Women with skirts will hate them. Britney Spears excluded:eek:.
2. The Gas Shocks have to be adjusted based on how cold or warm it is. Just like any gas shock, it will loose some gas therefore it will get heavier to open. Also when it gets colder, the doors will not stay open all the way up, and you'll need to keep it up while getting in or out. Just annoying, not a problem.
3. Due to it's nature, it will let some air in (not noticeable)
4. If you park in a low ceiling structure, you can't get out.
5. If you are over weight, it gets very hard to get out. I have a friend who got stuck lol.
6. It the Doors are not completely down, it will not close properly and will bangs against the door latch.
7. You have to get out and open the door for people. 8 out of 10 people wont know how to work it.
8. If you like Tendinitis in you left arm, they're great.

^^ 'nuff said: Don't get them unless you're REALLY looking to become the center of attention.. They look cool and if I was driving a REAL sports car, I'd get them. If I even had twins or a supercharger in my FX, I'd like to get them as well BUT I'd hate it to have lambo doors and then get passed by a Toyota Sienna  IMO, an NA FX + Lambo doors = that civic on the pic up top.. All for show and no real speed in it..

9. Adds more weight to an already heavy car. Will be 4x if you do all 4 doors.

Those doors are pretty neat & do look nice for sure. After hearing con #2

This sucks if you live somewhere where it's in the 70s one day and 30-40s the next.

Is there another shock made that won't do this?
Also was wondering what the cost would be roughly, not that i'm getting any but just to know

So is there a kit you can buy? if so where?
Thanx

The place who make a Bolt on Kit for FX is JT Bonn, Inc (jtautostyle.com) in Rose Mead 626-571-2636, makes it. This is a Single Shock system and it is fully reversable.

There are all sorts of Labo Door Kits and they use dual shock system that are longer and are much like the ones we have in our FX's Trunk. They are not bolt on, and have to be welded. You cannot reverse this.

yiiikes, none on all of those. just get puddle lamps, install led on the door handles, or and airide!!!
