Hopefully picking up a set of used H&R springs today for $200.
I'm also going to try and get out with a good Microphone and my DSLR and take a proper video of the exhaust. I want it for reference for once I do other mods (Headers, Plenum, Intake, Z-Tube). Then people can see the progression of sound.
Aiming to do my Intake and Z-Tube sometime soon, and Plenum Spacer shortly thereafter.
There is just so many things to do and I am away from home and the FX for three weeks out of every month due to work.

I managed to get the springs for $200. I wasnt even going to negotiate with the guy, the price was fair. I don't know if he was a member on here, but he said he switched the H&R springs out for BC coilovers and had done the akebono BBK.
If the person that met with me at Queensborough landing is a member please step forward. I'd love to talk more about your experiences with intakes...

Its really nice. Maintains that amazing sounding Infiniti sound just makes it much more defined and louder. It gets a 9/10 from me, it does drone a little through the main cruising powerband so thats where it loses the 1 point.

Picking up a 4 H&R 25mm spacers from a local guy on my week at home. He said brand new $125 might negotiate a bit, but 125 is more than fair.
My deal for GTR wheels fell through so I am still on the hunt.
Zebra is getting back to me on some parts (namely shocks and an Intake). That will allow me to get the springs and new shocks on at the same time. All that will likely happen at the end of may. Thats when I will start to put her back together and into Summer Mode.
Might have to make do with the stock rims for a bit until I can find a set of wheels. Not so bad though I have 2 sets of 18" stockers and the ones with my summer tires still have plenty of tread so I wanted to wear those out anyways...

Ohh and my fellow Jefferson is hopefully hooking me up with some sick headlights and a set of sport tails. This is really starting to come together.

Got my headlights & Sport tails from Jeff today, and they look sweet. Can't thank Jeff enough, and would recommend him as a seller to anyone.
Got the Sport tails on and pictures are up. Headlights will go on sometime in the coming days.
I also received my KYB shocks and Takeda Intake from Zebra. The shocks are hopefully going on tomorrow along with my H&R' springs and 25mm spacers.
The takeda intake is installed albeit a little shoddy. It appears the intake is not exactly ideal for FX's having been designed for the G35 and 350z. The crank coolant line is on the bottom of the intake meaning that hose I had to modify a little (no big deal). But the real problem is where the front of the cone sits (it kinda sits too low in the bay ) it is hitting one of the brakets and comes into contact with some grounding wires and my headlight cables. I should be able to rig something up at the bracket area to make it fit right tomorrow.
Either way it has been a pretty good day of modding.

Just read your message ahahha sorry for the late reply, It was me you bought the H&R springs off. I wouldn't recommend cold air intake for FX owners in the pacific northwest. Simply too much rain.

Wow, you own the FX with the HRE's, mad props your FX looks sick.
On the CAI, I remember you saying that its not a good idea. Ill see what happens, I plan on getting a shield for it. I also may end up getting another REAL CAI fabbed.

Kinetix V+ Finally Installed, didnt get a chance to take her for a drive yet though.
I will be doing the pedal dance and going for a nice cruise tomorrow with a group of other guys.
I also cleaned out the throttle body really well, and the difference in how she fired up and idled was night and day. Thanks to Aaron for the DIY on that.

Mannn it looks so much better.

Thanks guys. Yeah once I move away from daily driving the FX I'm looking to go FI and that's where I have heard the Crawford is most beneficial

Bought more Blackworks Fender Washers (I get them cheap), and a Blackworks Racing Oil Cap. Will be installing tomorrow a long with a preliminary look into doing the wire tuck.
I also am ordering the weapon R coolant tank, Weapon R power steering tank, Rare JDM harness cover, and UR Pulley set. They will all be polished. Will also be removing the plastic covers in the engine bay (Battery cover) and dropping those off to be hydrodipped in carbon fiber pattern.
Engine bay should progress nicely over the next little bit.
In other news I got a ticket for illegal tint over my front two windows, so I will be removing that as well (I got the car with this tint on, its not something I did). I dont really care about having the tint or not, its the fact that i now have to waste 2 hours removing it. Especially considering its like the lightest tint you can get, its literally only on there to get that mercedes blue window look.

Has anyone installed the weapon R 350Z P/S box on an FX? I understand I might have to rig up or fab a bracket, thats not a problem, but is there anything else I need to know about it?
I just want to know why more people havnt done it, before I blow 90 bucks just to learn what others already figured out. lol.

Nice ride bro. Are you experiencing any rubbing with the 25mm spacers up front with the gtr wheels?

No rubbing anywhere as far as I can tell. I am going to be running a 30mm spacer up front next summer, because with the 25mm the wheels still sat a bit too tucked inside the fender.
Slight update: I got my new pedals in today:
i got the ebay ones, because, well because they were only like 30 bucks shipped to my door. Compared to over a 150 for the OEM ones. I dont mind the way they look either. Considering my feet will be rubbed all over these I think they are good enough...
Also been having fun with halloween for the past week:
Seen lots of people pointing and laughing in my rearview. Fun stuff...
