It's worth the pain... black looks SO good when clean and glossy. I had a black FX before my current ivory pearl... loved it so much that I had the top half of my current ivory pearl painted black so I could have both worlds. Any other mod plans?
I'm thinking that coil overs will be the next big thing. I also want to get a set of Marus's LED Angel Eyes. A blacked out grille with the chrome Infiniti logo will probably make that list as well. My end of year bonus might be gone before I even get it.

You should take advantage of the coilover group buy smijus! Definitely try to drive down to one of our get togethers.....maybe not because we are bad influences and you will end up wanting to do more! Don't forget you may be getting a tax return too, so more mod money :wink (2):

Haha, sounds like you know what you're doing! I'm in the market for a set of coilovers as well, but I've spent so much recently that I'll probably wait a bit. Grille mod sounds great, as do the angel eyes, look forward to watching your FX transform!
I will most likely join in on the group buy for the coil overs, I'm just giving it a week to marinate before pulling the trigger. For the exhaust tips, the end of the year is always busy for us at work, so I'm just starting to actually get my free time back. I'm going to try to get them taken care of sometime this month. I'll be sure to take some before and after video to compare the exhaust notes. I'm definitely down for a Chicago meetup. Can't make it this weekend, but hopefully the next one.

You should definitely join the group buy for the Kido coilovers! I did, and won't be sending my payment for them until Feb 15th (gives me some time to compile the funding haha). Look forward to your exhaust videos.

It looks good either way, I too have been thinking about getting my grill blacked out and leaving the emblem chrome.
