Hey guys,

It's really early in the in development on this, but I thought I would give you guys a heads up about what's going to be happening soon over at ARK Performance (http://arkperformanceusa.com/01_aboutus.htm)...

My FX has been there for the last few days, and they are working on developing an exhaust like the one shown below for us 2ng gens that not only get's us respectable gains, but also has little to no drone! I'll know more on Thursday when I pick her back up, but I have been told it will take 45-60 days to get the final "production" model back from their manufacturer and available to us. As of right now in the process the Y & X pipe are finished...

They are also kicking around the idea (feedback from you guys will obviously help) of making it available with optional carbon fiber tips.

I have spoken with the owners and once they know what the final #'s are, they will arrange a group buy for all of us. I have been guaranteed that assuming everything goes well with development, we will have a group buy arranged for IS!!!!

Word on the street is Megan Racing is gonna have coil-overs out very soon!

very cool! Will they look into a FX50S option! I'm looking for exhaust, but don't like the borla and don't want to mod the Invidia.

Hey Tony, did the little birdie tell you if they addressed the camber issue as well..


And nice work on the exhaust, however your ride won't be the perfect example for us 2G Fx 35s... that exhaust will sound just a tad bit different on your engine :wink (2):, maybe just a little..

serious hope its soon im dyeing to drop the fx but not wear down the tires

Well, the bird did mention that they found out something recently and that is why it didn't come out last month like it was supposed to.. maybe the camber?!

As for my car? yeah, it's gonna have a bit more of a whistle to it! :tonguey:

Guess somebody from the group buy will have to be the 1st official one with it on a factory motor!

Nahh, not a whistle.. more like a waaapuushhh! Man I miss forced induction.. don't remember your setup, buy I say go with a large external wastegate and vent that sucker.. you'll scare people on the road.

The pipes don't exactly fit the same comparing a FX50 versus the FX35. A few guys on here have bought the invidia exhaust, but it in two spots, and welded back a new pipe in so that it would align right....it's only off I guess 1 or 2 inches, but just that makes all the difference. Gordon also mentioned no plans for the FX50 and with more FX50s coming on board, there's gonna be a big market for exhaust imo eventually.

Apprecaite the info, I'm gonna talk to them about the 50's when I go in tomorrow. Any FX50's in the L.A area that could go in for some R&D if I can get them interested?!

That looks SWEET Tony. Give us the heads up when the group buy goes down. I am also interested. I would want the same thin wall Titanium tips you have. :tup:
