Has anyone installed H&R springs on 09+ FX yet? Now they are Can't wait to see pictures of them. TireRack has them on backorder

I have them ordered on TireRack, they are sitting in warehouse for me. I told the guy to hold off on shipping them to me since Winter is here and I don't want to ruin them. They're waiting for me until the spring

I remember seeing 1 guy on eBay selling 09+ H&R springs, but it was pretty expensive, like $340 or something, at MSRP I believe. I will wait until TireRack gets it in stock, always had good experiences buying from them before for tire and suspension parts.

I'm still waiting too!!!

My mechanic (and H&R dealer..) ordered the spring kit in september... :err:

The production is scheduled in october...
in november...
at the end of november...
no,no,half december!!!
Maybe i'll find an H&R christmas gift under the tree...

Ciao,Marco.

Tire Rack just called me and said earliest is January. But most likely later that month for fulfillment.

With all this time waiting, I've had a chance to look around at some other high performance CUVs (X5 X6 Cayenne RRSport) and their suspension height. I think I may cancel the spring for now since the 2nd Gen FX seems to already have a smaller wheel well gap compared to the others. So, I may hold for now... or until the next meet and I park next to a lowered FX anyways.

That's very true. I've been looking at other SUVs and the FX is actually at a nice looking height now. It might be even better with a light 1" drop, but I'm also planning the factory front lip, and together with the drop could mean ground clearance that's similar to normal cars, which I did not want to get into (my GS300 had 4~5 inches of clearance in the front only.... it was a chore to drive around.)

that's the key ... I'm thinking once we see the first 2-gen lowered and parked next to another one it'll make a big difference visually

As far as the front lip, that's a good point, I wonder what type of clearance you'd be looking at ...

I don't think you will lose any ground clearance with the lip. The only thing that will be affected is your approach angle.
I went through this with my 2nd Gen sedan when I installed the front lip. The vehicle looked lower but you did not lose any ground clearance.

Thanks for posting the update ... I didn't realize I was so close to the H&R facilities so i called them directly last week and they mentioned them being available mid January. So hopefully no more delays and this new date is accurate, I'm waiting for mine too
