currently i got this offer. R1 Premium series drilled/slotted rotors plus Posi-Quiet low dust/low noise ceramic pads for $460.00. if you want Hawk HPS ferro-carbon high performance pads for an additional $50.00 or StopTech para-aramid performance pads for an additional $35.00. plus shipping

anyone interested in maybe a group buy to get it cheaper? :P.
 
Count me in, if the timing is right. I was going to buy this setup regardless. My brakes are making the "replace me" noise...
 
Viperi, not going to thread jack, but I really don't think you're getting that great a deal. I know you dont believe me when I say R1 Premium and Centric Stoptech are the same, but you'll see what Centric part number comes engraved on your rotors.

I just did this mock up for another member for his 2007 FX35. This was for Powerstop Rotors Drilled / Slotted (R1 Premium d/s) and StopTech Street Performance Pads was $467.34 before shipping and $525.01 including shipping.

From your Group Buy Information, the deal it ends up being - $495 before shipping for StopTech performance pads and "R1 Premium Rotors d/s". Maybe you can work with them to get free shipping for our members?

R1 gets their rotors from centric. The numbers I gave you are exactly the same thing. No decision necessary, get the ceramic pads for the same price.

just an update, i bought some R1 Premium series drilled/slotted rotors year and 4 months ago and they are warped.. Also they rust soo easy its unbelievable. really upset with their product.
 
An update. Kevin from R1concepts went out of his way, no questions asked, to help me out and sent me out some new front rotors even though my brakes were out of warranty of 4 months. amazing customer service. thanks alot! with customer service like that i would gladly be a returning customer.
 
I concur, R1 customer service is at highest level I know of. Had ordered rotors and found their sale, got instant credit back. That's service!
