I inquired about these exhaust to the vendor off of G35Driver. I wanted to know what you think about the exhaust and is this a good deal? it looks like it, but I wanted to know your opinions before pulling any triggers on this. I know there was something on this here, so I'll search to see what I can find out.

even with the X-pipe? I thought the X pipe was suppose to even out the back pressure with dual type exhaust. I dunno....

Stillen has an X-pipe also. I've driven a Stillen setup on Min's ride, & it was shit on takeoff. I just think it's too much volume to build up pressure on a 35 N/A

ok, thanks Dave. the dam thing sure does look great though I must admit. anyone else can chime in. Oh here is another question though, how was the mid to top end?
Dave you opinion is greatly appreciated thanks again.

Mid & Top will be good, but that'll happen once you're rolling real good. That's not where you need it on a 35. By the time you get your 6-10 ponies working, that Hyundai excel you were trying to beat out is already at the next light. Go nismo! & dont look back. It's by far the best & most efficient on air flow option. Looks & sounds to kill too.

Not flooring it . . just a casual cruise around. Car was on the colder side, & system had a bout a hunded miles on it. Once it breaks it, the note gets oh so sweet.

Ok ladies and gents

Any got any info on the Greddy ES exhaust. It looks like a good one. Help me out people decisions, decisions.

I really don't know, check with EG3 as he did something similar to this. I thought Bert had the FX specific one that has a y-pipe that works?

Here's Bert's thread on his Stillen, maybe it will work after all.

Here are the two pics that show the best comparison.

I was thinking if that was the issue, that the y section could be extended along with the tips. are the out lets different from stock. I think it should work.

You should be fine... The only thing would be the length of the X pipe..

for you being a 35 you might loose some low end but on the high end you will be fine.

Turbocad has a 35 AWD with this set up. He can better assist you brotha.

I have the stillen dual that's made for the fx, not too sure, but it looks like the X part in the g is further foward than the fx setup, which would mean the X is going to wind up right where your transfer case is. if you look at how far ahead of the resonators the x is on the second fx picture compared to the g picture, I think the x will be too far foward... if it was a z then the x would need to be extended anyway, but I thought the g doesn't need that, only the tips?

I'm sure with enough chopping & welding it can be made to fit, but if it needs a lot of work & you wind up spending ~400 or more to get it put in, then that kinda makes it not such a sweet deal anymore...

to me it looks like the X part on the g is right behind the tranny cross member, which is where your transfer case is... the fx has the X further back, behind the transfer case & well behind the tranny crossmember
