Angel eyes - Which one?

Hi All,

I have been looking on ebay and web for angel eyes to install on my 2004 fx35. the problem is there are alot of them listed on ebay and i dont know which one is more promising and has better queslities. i listed a couple of them on ebay.

oh thanks guys, good that i asked :) so i guess i have to just forget about it and only install my sport headlights in.
How about replacing the fog lights with the ones on ebay which come with halo ring? any suggestions.

A piece of garbage.

1. very weak halo ring. almost invisible
2. very weak bulb. light yellow
3. you have to seal them. they have tendency to accumulate water inside
 
any suggestions? i really want to do the Mod but wasn't sure if the ones listed on ebay are any good or not (doesn't look like it).

if you like the look, go for the hedlights. I'm running them for over a year now I had to change one of the inverters once.

your links on ebay are virtual to the same thing. They all sealing same item just using different images.

I have try all of them.

Don't wast your money on the fog's.
 
thanks for the suggestions. my fog lights are the original 2004 kinda yelowish bulb i would like to replace them with more xenon like new ones, any suggestions where to start and / or if there is anywhere i can get it from?

HID fog kit 6000K will give you white with a hint of blue from some angles

they are not actually as blue in person the camera just made them look that way. they are whiter and the light they project is alot whiter....

as for the angel eyes:
I wouldn't do them. especially since you are going ebay.
If you can find a shop near you that is great with LEDs then you can maybe have them do an LED style angel eye, which is sometimes called the "iron-man"
they are popular on g37s especially in the NY area since 180 customs is awesome at doing headlights. cincitydesigns.com is another great place. also, our in-house genius turbocad6 fabs custom headlights dependign on what you want. Im not sure if hes done the iron man style mod.
either way, i would stay away from the angel eyes. not only are they played out but they are just a apain to get 100% in our vehicles.

looks very nice jbaker, i think what you got is exactly what i want :) the other thing is that i want to run my day lights run along with other headlights at night as well just like yours. can you please guide me to right direction so i can do the fogs as well as the day lights?

well at night your fogs, daytime and headlights should all light up....

as for the day, I have the fogs on by themselves using module from kptechnologies
found here: http://www.kptechnologies.com/products.php#/12
so that my fogs are my daytimes and i can turn them on or off no matter which other lights are on. this module involves a bit of wiring and electric knowledge (but you can get instructions on how to do it)

to get the same HID 6000k fogs like I have, I recommend the Kensun HID's

these are a simple plug-and-play you just need to mount the ballasts somewhere, like the inside of the bumper. some recommend taking of the bumper for install, I simply took off the bottom black plastic off of the bumper and did it from under there.
 
Thanks a lot jbaker for the information. the other thing is that my day lights look yellowish what kind of bulb i should use to match it with my 6K headlights? (the same thing you got). the fog lights lens on newer fx models are different form the older onces i was wondering if i can use the same lens for my 04 fx

you don't change the lens for anything just the bulbs....

for the DRTLs I used LEDs from autolumination.com
 
ive got angel eyes... yes some people have had problems... i never had
only problem ive ever encountered is them not sticking to the actual housing for ever.
an entire tube of epoxy fixed that problem... and its not like its that difficult to take the lights out and do them again.
and if you do have an invertor go out... just dont install it inside the housing (theres no room anyway) mine is mounted next to the headlight inside the engine bay.

and eventually everything gets played.. if you like the look do it. everyone is all over flatblack now and one day everyone will make fun of it... its hott for one year.. maybe two... then its old and played. keep up with the jones... or be yourself
 
yeah, lightwerkz makes some nice stuff. lots of guys on nasioc use them as well. a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for!
 
I guess I better off not using angel eyes at the end of the day its 50/50. but i will change the bulbs, I've already got 6k Xenon and as jbaker suggested i will get LED for DRTLs, which LED did you get for your DRTLS? there are lots of them there i don't know which one can you send me the link to the one you got jbaker?
