I'm trying to work with AirREX for a custom strut kit for Gen2 folks. But based on their feedback, the interest is not there. That's why I'd like to see if there's enough interest so I can forward the info to them for review.

Feedback, questions, etc. Fire away

I could be wrong but I only see applications related to gen1. Gen 2 are unheard of. Though I saw a video but I think that's more like bag over coil setup.

Sorry guys, forgot to update:

Sent them my stuffs for R&D Airrex is working on a kit and is finalizing the detail. My kit should be arriving soon enough.

Se7en: Depends, I don't have the kit yet so I can't say for sure, but based on all other kits we've installed on our customers, the comfort level is there and the performance is superb. A notably setup was on the new 2014+ Lexus IS350. The car handles like an F-Sport while super comfy like the GS/LS setup. I was absolutely sold and love it the.

I worked with AirREX for R&D on my previous car Q50S. Mine was the first bagged AWD Q50 in the world. The ride was excellent, far exceeding my expectations of comfort and performance. I highly recommend AirREX product. Their pre assembled all-in-one management box makes install very easy plus its a clean and tidy look.

Although I wont be bagging my QX, I'd sure love to see the results.

Read through 30 of his 40 pages. If he can make that happen props, but just like many others I'm pretty sure he is going to lose patience or run out of funds long before he completes what he wants.

Just the logistics of trying to add hybrid drive system to a car which never had it is so ludicrous, I mean we're talking about a system which most automakers spend 10's of millions developing. I just don't see it happening.

hahah, it's all good.

Back to topic.

You see it here first, Airrex full strut proto kit was made. Got it in a week ago. Going to get those on as soon as the body work is finished.

That guy's story is veeeerrrrry interesting and have to admire his respect and love for the FX/QX....but yeah his mission is a bit out of reach
and I really would be surprised if he pulls this thing off lol

Lol the guy took credit for infiniti releasing a blacked out QX. He thinks infiniti liked his car so much that they copied his blacked out accents and sold it to the masses. Dude is a clown, thinks he's the first person to murder out a car.

His information is out to lunch, and has almost no basis in reality, he hates being told he's wrong and refuses to believe those who know far more than him. Thank goodness he closed his account and moved on.

Back on topic, those struts look really good. Triple bellows should give plenty of stable and reliable suspension height range.

Out of curiosity is the top mount of the front strut a pivoting or pillow mount of some sort?

i laughed my ass off when I read that he's taking credit for inspiring Infiniti Australia to release blacked out QXs. T'was the defining moment I realized that he's full of it.
