Question about the rears. Do you adjust from ring -"a" the larger ring that sits on the spring as in these pictures? Looks the same as the fronts only rear springs sit in the spring bucket upside down from fronts. Gonna raise a little bit tomorrow and just wanna be more clear on what I'm doing to make job faster. Thax.

Anybody want to add a diy for the rear? I will attempt the rears probably this weekend, tried a month ago but couldn't figure out how to lower the rear shock. I loosened the lock ring but it did not move...wondering if it has to be removed to adjust.

hhmm, thanks for the link. I did try turning by hand but it did not want to move, maybe need to try harder. Will try it again possibly later today.

I had to take the 2 nuts out swing it back towards me ten turn by hand dont think it can be with it stationary.

It can be, it's just incredibly hard. Take the two nuts out at the top and turning it by hand is the best way. I would HIGHLY recommend greasing the threaded part of the strut, mine squeeked so damn loud, I thought I was going deaf..

I was able to turn my rear struts just fine. Can't say for sure that it worked because I didn't try lowering them, but I could turn them.

I found that the rear shocks could not turn unless I use a jack to slightly support the weight of the suspension (jack it up underthe control arm by 1"or so) then it was easy to adjust.
