Anyone else here just take delivery of a 2012 only to find out the 2013s are out less than one full week later? FML. Oh well, at least the new ones will not lease as aggressively as the 2012 I just picked up. Anyone here planning on leasing/purchasing a 2013? I wouldn't mind the extra 25 or so horses! Has anyone been quoted any lease numbers on the new FX yet? Thanks!

Even though you and your wife just got your FX a week or so ago ...... you guys shouldn't fret since the LE is quite exclusive and sooo bad ass regardless of the 37 coming out !! I've had my 12' just a few months and am nothing but thrilled with my ride. There's always going to be better and newer sooner or later. Enjoy yours !
 
I wish I would have known about the FX37 months back, I def would have waited. I have the limited edition just like you which I thought was going to be a special color as well which it's not as they are offering it as a standard color now, so to me the limited edition Is not so special anymore. The 2013 white limited edition is out now too in white, they have the info up on the website.

I took delivery of my 2012 about two months ago and I don't regret it at all. Although the 25HP extra would have been nice, the one thing that could have made me regret not waiting would have been a significant bump in fuel economy.
 
With the deluxe touring package it also says it comes with 21 inch wheels, but when you click on the package it says 20 inch. I don't know if there is a typo or what but that would awesome if they come with the 21's.
 
Yeah, well said. There will always be newer and better. It's a toss-up between getting a phenominal deal on a leftover, or having the newer model and paying significantly more for it. Don't get me wrong, I really love our 2012. The color is extremely stunning and really looks different in person than in the few pictures of it available on the internet. I plan to do a full detail of her car in the upcoming weeks and take a photoshoot of it to upload for you fellas here. In terms of what deals are available, not really sure but we just got ours at I believe $1,800 below invoice. Also I think the website is incorrect. It says 21 inch wheels but I believe it is the 20s which actually come with it.

Whoa how weird! The website just reverted back to the 2012 FX35! No more mention of the 2013 FX37 or the new white 2013 Limited Edition! How strange!!!
 
The website is having issues, a family friend of mine owns the Infiniti/Nissan dealership where I live and he says it's confirmed and coming out end of this month to beg of August.
 
If I had to do it over again, I'd probably still take the better deal on a 2012 over the upgraded engine in the 2013. It took about an hour of negotiating, but I ended up getting about $3.5k over the highest KBB private party retail price on my 2008 and got them to throw in the cross bars for free. I'm sure there are probably better deals out there, but I'm content.
 
I picked up a beautiful Malbec black 2012 in early June; since the 2012's had only been for out for six months it never crossed my mind that the 2013 would be coming out so soon. If I had known the FX37 was due out in July or maybe even August I may have waited.

Anyway,I got a great deal on the new 2012 and a equally good deal on my 2005 FX trade-in. My 2005 was paid for, and I reallly didn't want to drive it too much longer and risk an accident or other damage. This happened to me before with a car that I was planning to sell/trade, in the interim I had an accident and lost good bit of value on the car.
 
I feel your pain! I bought my 2012 FX35 in May and did as much research as possible beforehand -- I couldn't find one shred of evidence that pointed to the 3.7L coming to the FX in 2013. Plus, the FX37 has been available in Europe for a few years, so I figured that if Infiniti was going to bring it to the states they would've done so by now.

Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk. I got the exact FX35 and options that I wanted and got a great deal besides. I seriously doubt it's going to be easy to tell the difference between the 3.5 and the 3.7 anyway...there's less than 10% difference in power output and the torque is even closer!

I was fretting for a while about not waiting for an FX37 but I needed to buy when I did and I'm really enjoying the FX35 besides. There will always be something newer and better around the corner!
 
The horses don't bother me.

If it turns out the 3.7 is somehow a better match for the 7 speed tranny and a little more refined then I might have a little buyers remorse.

hello ya'll. had an 03 FX45 that I sold a few months ago. I miss it so i've been shopping around for FX past few weeks. my local dealership had 3 FX37 on their lot last night. i drove the 37 & 35 back to back...the acceleration on the 37 felt better...it was more "crisp" to me...no delay/lag when u give it the gas. what is interesting is that despite the extra displacement & horses, it's rated as having better MPG...17 city 24 hwy.

I was not aware that they were available....

Does anyone have additional information on the MY2013 Limited Edition?
