I decided to take the plunge, and bought one of these. Rides and handles well. Picked it up from the dealership today but I drove it straight to the shop that's doing my tinting and clear bra. I drove it really slowly and kept my distance to try to minimize the chance of getting a rock chip before the 3M stuff was installed. What sucks is, I drove it a total of 11 km in slow traffic, and I won't see or drive her again till Monday or Tuesday (when the shop is done)!!!! I suppose it's a small sacrifice to pay to try to keep her looking fine, like my FX45. Still love the FX45 and will be keeping it as the family hauler. Not sure if we'll be selling our 02 Maxima...might need it for winter, when the 370Z will be a garage princess. :-) This is one of the first ones (if the the first) in Edmonton apparently. Excuse the crappy iPhone pics taken earlier...

Yeah, they're the same 19" staggered Rays Engineering wheels as on the Z's with the Sport package, but darker in color - only equiped on the 40th anniversary models. They look pretty good and are contrasted well by the red calipers, but they could use spacers and maybe a thicker tire, maybe? I wasn't too keen on darker colored rims before, but I'm developing an appreciation for them now.

Thanks again for the compliments guys (and honest opinion even if you don't like it).
