Hey everybody, I have searched and found different adapters, but I am real curious if there is one that I should avoid, and one the people consider the one to have? It's for the wifes 2005 FX35. Is there an adapter that just gives an aux input, so she can plug her Droid into from the headphone jack? What about an ipod adapter that will display on her radio.

I am pretty sure her car has a bose system. Has a cassette player down below, and a 6 disk player in the dash (this is all from memory). Her car is the sport version with the 20's.

Thank you very much for your input!!

Yup, it enables iPod Features and Functions from the iPod and the Radio
The radio also displays the songs information (song, artist).
My friend has it in his 1st gen G35 coupe, but I'm not a noob to their products.

I own their FM transmitter (ISFM72), I was afraid to use FM transmitters due to the complaints of static
but this device has no static, it charges my iPod, has PurSound technology, as well as RDS text transmission
meaning my song's info will be on the screen (via iPod connection not aux).

My next product will definitely be a ISNI571, though ..used, most likely.

I've tried the USA Spec and the MediaBridge by Dice. By far MediaBridge is easier to install and use. Only gripe is when incoming calls come in on Bluetooth it does not interrupt song unless you're in the right preset range

It does but only if I am on that preset bank. Say I have my MB on preset bank "C" and I have my regular FM stations I listen to on "B" it won't interrupt. If I am listening to my iPhone like pandora or something then yes it will interrupt.

The Mediabridge looks real cool, but they only offer the FM style for her car. Is there anybody that makes a non FM style Ipod adapter that also has Blue Tooth?

the mediabridge is by the the best out of all of them, DO NOT USE THE GROM UNIT.. they're not reliable (service/product) and i've had alot of problems with them..

and it runs as a SAT emulator, not FM.. way better quality than an FM emulator

So I have a followup question to this that I was talking to HA about yesterday. I've read that if you roll through the sources on your radio and there is a SAT option, then you're good to go. I don't have that option, if I roll through, it just goes through the terrestrial FM/AM and back. Is there something more that I would have to buy to get the mediabridge to work?

My bezel does have the Tune/Cat/Folder on the passengers side knob. It's just when I cycle through the sources, SAT is never an option. I just wanted to make sure that it was "smart" assuming that it will show up once a source is actually connected.

A couple more questions, seeing as how you guys seem to know this device pretty well.

1st, Her can has factory NAV, and has a SAT button, it is a 2005 FX35, is there anything else I need to check, or will this work on her car?

2nd, can you play pandora off the ipod/iphone? Can you manually control the Ipod/iphone is the real question?

3rd, Her phone is a Droid, so the blue tooth will work on that, totally seperate from the Ipod interface?

and last, does the blue tooth only work while you are using the ipod? does it actually lower the volume of the radio or CD player?

Thanks a ton for your help!!

1. No, that's all fine.. And will work..
If he has factory sat, it can be used also.. The mediabridge comes with a bypass harness
2.yes, yes
3.yes, it recognizes the Bluetooth, don't
Matter if droid or iPhone
4. Bluetooth works instantly when u get a phone call or use a Siri equivalent, if u want to listen to music via Bluetooth and not have the phone connected u lose quality cuz its Bluetooth but works.. U can also have the phone plugged in and listen to music.. Bluetooth works regardless as soon as its inputted on ur phone.. When phone call comes in, music turns off.. Phone can be in ur pocket or plugged in, don't matter
