Ok, I have been loaded up with messages about you guys wanting these, I understand GTSPEC is holding off on making these for a while, I called GTSPEC and talked to them, they agreed to make a special run of these. I know some of you want the other bars, but we are going to try this out and see what happens. I started the Feeler thread for all the bars, but it was just to much to keep track of everything. I hope you guys understand :)

SO here it is, they will only do this if I get a order of 10+ of that part number, so I need a order of 10 Bars for the 1st Gen, and 10 bars for the 2ed gen.

For one, this is the ONLY way they will do it, I tried for 5 bars but they said no, and I get a much better discount with this many bars, so that means better pricing for you guys.

Once the order is placed with GTSPEC, it will be about 3 weeks until they are shipped out.

For Pricing, They will be $186.74 Shipped in the US!

They have these on the site for sale. Not as cheap as your group buy but still for sale. Am I missing something?

So do we have to wait until we hit 10 for the STB to ship out or does it ship out immediately?

Everyone that sells GTSPEC has them on there site, but if you order, you will get a E-mail or phone call saying we have no idea when they will be in stock.

Have to wait for the 10. I can not place the order until that, they need 20% down to start making them, so they have to be paid for, then they will make them. They just don't want to make 20+ bars and then have people back out.

I am interested but have a few questions. Do they really add stiffness you can feel or simply add eye candy?

It's not that bad or stiff, but you can feel it. If your FX is lowered, it will be more beneficial. I just installed the front four points brace last week and I notice the stiffness much more but the handling is improved. And yes, it's definitely eye candy! :top:

As far as I know, you can. However, I can not say 100% because I do not own one. Maybe someone will say for sure ? I just don't want to say yes and have it not work.

From every car I have installed them on, when you go into a tight turn like going up a pass or something, your body roll will be less.

i have my strut bar on and i can feel the front tighten up and less body roll but the back is all over the place. GOnna install the other braces i have and see if it makes a difference in the spring. im just missing 2 bars :(

With the fx50 the brace can't fit over the engine cover, but you can remove the engine cover and the side covers install the brace and put back the covers..... It will be hidden under the cover so no eye candy but .... It works.......I have it by the way.

so let me get this straight. if I have an '09 fx, i can get the front strut bar and have it installed WITH all plastic covers in tact?

It looks so much more robust than any other I have seen out there. I have installed STB's on every mustang I've owned. Night and day difference especially with any kind of cowl rattle although to be fair the STBs on mustangs typically attach at the firewall too.

Currently the strut towers are moving independent of each other when they flex especially during turns and bumps. This will reinforce the front of your car and will make it much more sturdy.
