12 year old doing 1/4 in 8 seconds

Not much to it on a Bike - ease out the clutch and pull forward on the right hand.
Couldnt tell if the bike had wheely bars or not.

All Im saying is it isnt all you guys are making it out to be. Im sure you guys have seen the moto-X tracks......a lot of kids go ride at those places. There are so many kids doin that sort of thing, So Goin straight isnt that hard.

I was sitting at home watching Voltron when I was twelve, CUZ

1. My parents werent rich
2. My parents didnt build me a 8 second bike.
3. my parents didnt send me to bike school
4. my parents wanted me to become something other than a professional bike rider.

You guys have been on the track........its not that hard. Light turns green stomp on the gas. So if you were doin that every day.....Im sure you would be great at catching the green. And if you had an 8 second FX you'd be getting the same eta's.
Obvisously the kids been trained for it.....its not like they found someone off the street and threw him on the bike and bam, got a good reaction time and eta.

I have to agree with Will. It really isn't that big of a deal especially tjese days and watching all the kids in the x-game stuff.

i could weld when i was 12... but thats cuz my dad.... is a welder
yes he is a talented kid but most 12 year old boys are A. young (fearless, invincible...dumb) B. willing to try anything... especially if a grownup says its cool.
but i bet that kid does grow up to be fast on a bike

i dont see a wheelie bar, apparently it is his second pass, and those people looked pretty excited after it happened, so i doubt its routine for him.

Damn boys... you are getting into one heated topic here.....

On a side note... It's all about the parents but on the same side it's also about doers and talkers. both sides take place in both settings. So yes you are all right....

on another note..... Ash, you know how to weld, work on cars, talk cars and hell i think i even heard you talk about sports at one time.... Is there anything you can't do?

I agree with everyone who says "big whoop." I mean the kid's reaction time is horrible and his launch looks sub-par. I bet that bike is capable of high 7's in the hands of a pro.

Ballsy, but not amazing.

only girl to a father who really wanted a son... he was the towns little league coach
and ive always gotten along well with boys... my roommates are all guys... im in a guys work environment.. and my current BF really helped me grow with my love of cars

and you left out snowboard and i only talk football... GO COLTS

and dave... isnt that the music to topgun....

But Pink is still your favorite color right?
All kidding aside, you did play dress up & had Barbie dolls growing up, yes?
My youngest (4) is a tom too. She dresses up like a fairy, then lines up her HW cars. She rolls 'em back & forth w/ sound fx. It's hilarious

& her favorite color is blue. U2 are the same breed . . . notice her sandals?
