I was hoping to do it earlier to avoid snow but hey, maybe if there's enough snow we can do some FX-style drifting.

Floyd Bennett Field
look at these pictures from g35nyc...it's a huge open lot (well, a lot of it)

I'm not sure which lot it is that people use, so how about we all just meet at the main historic administration building (the brick one)
then if we want to move from there we can.
also, I know we wont have a problem with this, because we are FX guys: don't be stupid. the police leave people alone here as long as they aren't like racing, doing burnouts and donuts, obnoxiously revving, etc. etc. (but if there is a good enough amount of ice and snow the temptation may be too much to not drift haha)
so basically there is no reason for us to have a problem going there: its part of a recreational park.

what time do you guys want to make this? who wants to bring food, coffee, cameras, video cameras, also bring those folding chairs if you want because there will be nowhere to sit.... I will be bringing my DSLR and will take pictures

so, what time guys? 10am?

I say we just meet at the old historic brick administration building, that's where the "fun" lot is. Im not exactly sure where that is however, that's why I wanted to get there early haha.... but im sure itll say "administration building" somewhere... I think its on the bottom along flatbush ave in the "histroic" district...I could be wrong though.

yeah, im pretty sure where we want to go is in the "Hanger Row Historic District" on the bottom left., because the only other huge open lot is the NYPD field office and the armed forces reserve center.

also, by the historic building there are a few jets outs so it would be cool to take pictures with them.

my only concern is if it snows too much...

UPDATE:

G35NYC.com forums is having their third annual new years meet on the same day we are having our meet, except their meet is at 2pm. there is plenty of room for everyone but just thought I would let you guys know so you can check their rides out too!
(also the reason it is so early)
