aero kit, no longer available?

Hi all,

Been looking to pull the trigger on the aero kit but have been hesitant with how it will respond with the tech package.

I always used to see circle infiniti's eBay posting for them, but I don't see that, nor any sites with them for sale.
Have they somehow been discontinued?
Anyone know where I can buy them?

Lastly, anybody with tech package decide to put the aero kit on anyways? Some of the tech features I use pretty regularly, I'm hoping I don't have to sacrifice all of them just for the under spoiler. Maybe I can make a modification to the kit?

I have installed it on two FX's with the full tech packages, they have never interfered with them, the tech package was fully functional.
 
The aero kit has been discontinued but you can still find them online. You might have to piece together the kit if they are not available in one spot.
 
Doesn't affect mine. I bought the entire kit from the dealer outside Detroit not long ago. Shipping wasnt expensive and ive found them to have the best prices online. Suburban Infiniti of Troy.

I think you can still go to a dealership be order them. I'm going to go and get the front and back soon, just don't know if I want to spend the money on buying the sides too. I called a dealership and he said they would order them.

Oscar, I didn't install the sides only the front and rear. I like to have the splashguards on the front fenders to stop all the crap from spraying up the sides. If you install the side sills, the splashguards must be removed. Now that I have run it that way for a few months I prefer the look the way it is now.
I would order what you want sooner than later to make sure you can still get them. Did your Dealer say they could definitely get them and that they were readily available.
 
Good find man, some websites I have been to say they are unavailable and 3 dealers in the LA area told me its discontinued, weird. Maybe it's just all left over stock.

Just called my dealer in Central NJ and they said they are available and they'll have it in tomorrow morning.

$1800+ for parts and $700 for labor, in case anyone is interested.

Thanks, I am pretty pumped up about it!
Going to get the chrome fog light trim done as well.

After that would be tinting the taillights darker with tinted clear coat.
On the fence whether I should tint any of the chrome parts... just like yours, PEEJ

I also want to find some vinyl wrap or something to cover the weird orange wood trim on the interior...
any advice?

^3d Carbon fiber wrap it just like me & patrick did. Theres tons of it on ebay.

Best bet might be to ask the 350Z, 370Z guys.
They would know if the change of the color from 2010 to 2011 was an actual color change or just a name change.
Given that there is a Platinum Graphite picture thread and a Gun Metallic picture thread, I would guess they are different.

EDIT: read up some more and it says GM is darker than PG.

are there any that are already pre-cut to the sizes needed?

I was looking at rtint.com, looks like they have pre-cut stuff but a lot more pieces than I need...

Update time.

Got a call from the dealership saying that the part is coming out of a different distribution hub than they originally thought, so that they would need to push back the appointment a week. I told them next week was no good so they tentatively put me in for Friday Oct 16. Service guy accidentally said, he doesn't see it being "delayed" any longer than that, so that Friday should be good, even though he originally told me to reschedule to some day the week of Oct 19.
 
I looked at those before. I believe the ones from rtint are thicker & need to be glued on with some type of adhesive to stay on so it said on the instructions. I wanted to be able to remove it wenever i wanted so i just cut it myself.

I'm seeing that they are not glue-on via the website though.

Doesn't look bad for $40 bucks... looks like they have various colors of CF vinyl as well

Paid 1225.... Shipped for my whole kit
Gives the truck an amazing look. Well worth every penny invested. The sides even out the front and rear in looks..
