Hey guys I don't know if anyone knows about this ebay store but these are the guys we've seen on a few threads customizing different things for the 2nd gen FX in Russia. I stumbled across their ebay store while looking for toys for the FX. They have a couple of rear deck spoilers, head light / tail light covers grilles and other stuff. I think I'm going to order the bigger rear deck spoiler and the rear tail light covers for starters and see how the fitment and quality is. There's something about those rear tail light covers I really like.

Oh and they are offering a solution for those of you interested in removing the roof rails. They have plastic strips to replace the moldings on the roof. They say they are held on by 3M tape though which if done correctly with adhesive promoter can last a very long time but if plastic and 3M tape is the only thing between my interior and rain, I'd probably fill the holes with rubber and silicone before adding those strips.

They have a bunch of options for the FX, however it doesn't always fit right. I ordered fender flares from them, it took forever and they sent me the wrong ones (shiny vs. matte) in the end, and didnt tell me. Then, I went to fit them and they were off from what the pictures showed. I ended up reselling them to another FX guy.

Unfortunately, They were also more expensive when I bought them. I'm surprised they are cheaper now (the fender flares)

Yes they have a bunch of stuff, but I;d be wary of what you order from them. Also, they requested paypal as a gift to avoid paying the fee. Obviously I refused because they could take your money and run.

they seem to be a good provider of stick-on stuff for the car, if that's your thing. I'd just be careful dealing with them.

as for the 3m tape to cover the rail holes - you will get water in, no question.

I actually bought a spoiler from that seller last year and it came cracked and that asshole wouldn't give my money back. Would never deal with that guy again. His products are cheap quality and that's why he sells them so cheap.

I remember you posting about that. If anything the only thing that might actually fit would probably be the eye lids or tail covers since theres not much modifying involved.

Bought my eyelids from that seller. They're okay, but they are far from a perfect fit. Tons of 3M tape holding them in place.

I already expected to have to modify anything I get from them. I wouldn't buy anything big maybe the light covers and definetry the rear spoiler. I'm going into to it prepared to dremel and paint lol. Maybe I will order one thing at a time just in case I have an issue. Also I have my shark fin antenna attached with 3M tape and I've had to remove it 3 times already for various things like the vinyl wrap and I never have moisture under it. I use the weather proof 5lbs rated 3M tape and 3M tape promoter in the promoter pen. It makes the bond super serious, I have to soak the 3M in Goo Gone for at least an hour to get it off and then I have to clean the area with Goo Gone forever to remove all the residue whenever I remove it.

I certainly would never buy fender flares from a place that wasn't fitting them for me. Sorry to hear about that jbaker, I know you were tight behind that BS.

Great. :disapointed: I bought the rear part of the Aero kit from this person last week. It is still in Russia on it's way here. Hopefully I won't have that bad of an experience. It won't get here for another few weeks.

So i got my part today... and the plastic is white! Do you guys see any issues painting the white plastic black to match our trim?

I'm not quite understanding what your saying. Can you post a pic? What white plastic piece are you talking about?

Don't make the mistake like I did with this guy's stuff. The plastic feels like disposable spoons. Save your money and get OEM. I had to get ebay involved to get my money back.

Lol. He said this to me 'Иди на хуй придурок тупорылый', which Google translate translated it as 'Go to dick jerk roundnose'.

Wow just ridiculous, to all the members out there wanting to give your hard earned money to a seller like that, DONT... I wouldn't take nothing even it was for free from him

I would report him to eBay, that's what I did, don't know what they did but as soon as I reported him he switched his seller name.

They probably shut him down under his first name.

Good to know, glad I started this thread to expose this dudes cheap quality stuff. In reality though, aftermarket stuff never fits as good as OEM when it comes to body parts and plastics. There cars look good out there in Russia with this stuff installed because the guys that are making it are probably installing it. In my experience when you make major aftermarket mods to the body of your car you have to have an above average shop doing the work. As cheap as this guys stuff is a good shop could probably take his parts and use it as a base, build it up and then do the modifications to make it fit properly, It would probably cost an arm and a leg but how many guys do you know running around with extreme body work that didn't pay a grip for it anyway? I've done many motorcycles with aftermarket plastics and the story is always the same, it never fits right and has to be modded by cutting, drilling extra holes, and sometimes repainting to get the job done.

So where is a good source for the eyelids?
If any...

Edit: I just now purchased the Ebay eyelids for $90 from Russia.
We'll see what they look like when they show up.
