Lame or Legit to put on an FX35?

Saw this the other day but couldn't get a picture. He had an 03-08 FX35. It was the Silver Color but had the IPL badge on the bottom right.

I am usually incredibly opposed to posers that throw on 5.0 badges on a V6 Stang, or, the Camaro guys putting SS badges on a Cavalier.


However, since they never made an IPL edition FX35, I am really torn on whether or not I thought it was kinda cool.

What do you guys think about an IPL badge on an FX35/45/50?

Naw i would prefer badgless. Seems a little ricer to add on a IPL badge unless you have the vettel edition but even then i would debadge it.

I take off as much badging as possible. Nothing to do with the model of the car, or the engine or anything.

Its just plain distracting, and also makes it harder to keep a clean ride (like waxing around the emblem and such.

Lame, no different than guys who put the old GT-R badges on their Altimas. Nissan never made a GT-R Altima either. Any badge that your car didn't come with is lame IMO. So guys who put the S logo on their FX's fall in that category.

I have a nismo front plate frame . . . but it does wear nismo parts.
I've gotten called out on it by a snobby porsche owner once :/

I've seen a Scion once with a TRD badge, a Subaru STi emblem, a Nismo badge and AutoZone fake grilles. It's got one of those fat coffee can fart exhaust.

The driver dared me for a race revving up his engine a few times. I politely obliged and slowed down once I left him in the dust. He caught up enough to see me laughing as I let him pass me.

Strike 2 = IPL badge on a model year before IPL even existed, also = strike 3
Strike 3 = IPL badge on on base model engine vehicle also = strike 3

Summary: all equal strike 3.

I actually seen a 350z with gt-r badging. It not only had the badges but he changed his grill and other parts. It actually looked ok to those who don't know better, i just shook my head when i saw it though cause i did no better. Wanted to take a pic but was driving
