Didn't say its less proper, it just isn't piece of mind like ABS is.
Christ.... A novel. First, changing body panels is strictly cosmetic; not effecting mechanical systems or it's warranties in any way and this has been confirmed with the dealership. Thanks for your very empty concern. You've then proceeded to rant quite redundantly from there on in, and you've managed to have a pretentious, arrogant and snarly teenage disposition all the while. How old are you? Sorry, but this is just an asshole comment; normally in this instance i'd ask you what your problem is and ask you to step outside. But that's obviously not possible in this instance, clearly I've offended you somehow and managed to shake you and your very sensitive disposition.
The Aero kit IS cheap and it IS a bolt on, is this debatable? The Vettel kit is simply the best looking aesthetic available for the car, need more be said? Exactly what level of "biting" performance would I need to have in order to legitimize my desire to have a Vettel kit on the car, a measly 30HP which is nothing more than an exhaust change and a quick tune that has little to no real world effect on the cars performance? Nice one pal, not exactly hardcore is it? Hold on, that's exactly what you've done! Sorry, didn't mean to take all of the glory away from your insanely awesome hardcore modifications mate!
I'm not going to debate the rest of your comment, because you're clearly an asshole with a personal issue of some kind. I don't really care for your attitude problems, please keep them to yourself. I'll be blunt, I don't value your feedback and I don't think that in the future you're going to try to achieve anything other than to offend me or to try to build up you own ego at my expense. So please do try to avoid my posts if at all possible. It would be greatly appreciated.
I don't think that a body kit being made from fiberglass makes it any less "proper" sir. It's simply not realistic in this situation to create a mold for something that will be a one off, they're very skilled and knowledgeable in the use of their chosen materials and will no doubt choose the best material for the situation. If they want to make more of these kits in recognizing a commercial opportunity and see the benefit in going the ABS route, then that's fine with me. Thanks for your CONSTRUCTIVE input, i'll surely voice your opinion when I meet with them next week.
Again, I don't appreciate your childish, immature attitude. Keep it to yourself. Constructive feedback only, not interested in your personal issues. Nothing wrong with fiberglass, excellent material.
I personally think the vettel kit is ugly. OEM Aero piece looks so much better. OEM Aero pieces just flow better, I believe.

....
The replica kit has been available in Asia for quite some time, only found the wheel link (Taobao website).
Either way I was positive from the beginning nobody, not even the OP was going to pay 7K to replicate the kit. He can feel free to prove me wrong, but until that time this thread is just a bunch of hot air...
Thanks, I appreciate your perspective. You're right, and if i was going to go through with the kit it would be for the right reasons. But to be honest, it may not be worth all of the drama or the expense.
I might just replace my mufflers and do my plasti-dipping and that'll be the end of it.
Hi Zebra, that link is to a set of wheels; not the body kit. Those images are of the actual Vettel edition, they're just selling the wheels.
Exactly on point. Well said.
Glad you're coming to your senses....
Drama thread :bulgy-eyes:
Guys, thx for keeping it civil
Such a condescending little prick, how many times has your jaw been broken? It's no surprise that people like you gravitate towards the security and safety offered by the internet.

So for future reference, is this jbaker character the resident troll whom exists only to light fires? Seems your community has a thorn in it.
