hey guys,

I am thinking of purchasing the Invidia Exhaust for my 2012 FX35 AWD. But I recently got the OEM hitch installed. Does anyone have the OEM hitch installed and able to put on the Invidia exhaust?

Get the ARK bro, sounds way throatier like the g37, I have heard both and that's why I chose ARK. It's more money but you won't be disappointed.

I have the Invidia exhaust on my 2012 LE, with a HiddenHitch. The hitch pushed the tailpipes up, almost hitting the top of the cutouts in the bumper, so I took it to a muffler shop and they made me new tailpipe sections that clear the hitch. Sorry, don't have any pics to post showing the mod.

Anyone have the OEM hitch with Invidia exhaust? Wondering if the exhaust would still have to be modified. The OEM hitch is a little different than the one from HiddenHitch I'm assuming. Trying to get a rear mounted bike rack but I have the Invidia's. Roof setups seems sketchy (want to minimize scratching our brittle infiniti paint).

Everywhere I see Rip advertising the ARK he should just work there lol.
+1 on the ark tho i got a key chain, stickers and a license plate!

Hi .My Invidia has been installed 1 month ago. You MUST take your hitch off. I have the hitch before and when they install the invidia they were showing me I need to take my hitch off. Which I did. So either Invidia or your hitch. Your choice:)

I'm going to be doing the same thing, getting the stock hitch and either the Ark or the Invidia exhaust. I have seen photos of the stock hitch and I'm not so sure it is a problem at all. The "real" stock hitch sits way up inside behind the bumper. So I don't see how it would be an issue. Some dealers sell "aftermarket" hitches and label them as "stock" and those are ones that stick out or are bulkier than normal. Photos would be helpful, i'll be picking up the stock hitch this week and will post pics here. That way this forum will have a reference of the stock hitch. Probably post install pics and diagrams too :)

Which hitch did you have? Real OEM or aftermarket? Was it hidden up in the bumper or sits under the exhaust and you can see the entire bar from outside the car?

Any updates? I would like to know if the ark exhaust fits with the oem exhaust.

I spoke with the guys at Invidia and they confirmed the OEM hitch will work with their exhaust. Their muffler was designed to fit within the same dimensions as the stock exhaust and the actual muffler is slightly smaller so there's no reason Invidia should not work.

I'll be ordering it at some point once the weather gets a bit nicer.

I think there was someone on here who posted in some thread..can't remember i was just browsing around stated that it was one or the other, but not both. Not sure what hitch they had but looking at the design of the muffler, I'm not sure it would be a problem. Hard to say without having a car with an Ark exhaust to look at.
