Bored's FX50s Mods and Pics

Hey all,

Just wanted to start a thread for all of my mods and pics to accompany them. I'm also going to be posting Photoshop renders of some of the stuff I'd like to do to my beast that I'd love to get feedback on.

I'm at work right now, so I don't have many pictures, but here's a list of what I've done so far:

• Interior LED change to white
• License Plate LED change
• City Light LED Change
• 30% tint on front windows (looks very light, especially compared to the factory 15% in the rear, might go darker to 20-25%)

As you all may have read, I'm planning to accent off of the sport gunmetal-chrome headlight housing. In addition to blacking out the grille (leaving the Infiniti logo chrome), I'm going to match the side vents & rear chrome strips around the license plate to be the same as the gunmetal-chrome in the housing. Might end up doing the same to the muffler tips.. but not sure about that one. I'll put up pictures of the mods and some photoshop renders soon folks!

I promise photos will be up. I'm adding a couple more mods to it, changed the tint on the front to 20%, reading at 16%.. looks much better.

Changing the city lights to a nice bright 3W LED.. I want to have it kind of like a DRL.. for cloudy and overcast weather, sometimes in the sun.

I have a quick question for you guys.. If I were to lower my car, will it affect the dampening control system that's already part of the suspension?

Alright guys! Long overdue pictures of my FX50s!




The lights are the new Supernova Matrix 3W Cree LED. I think they look amazing and make for a nice "DRL" LED effect in the overcast weather. Kind of look like LED strips when looked at from the side as you can see in the last picture, the way they reflect off of the housing.


Also guys, I fucked up big time. I didn't move my car far enough ahead in my garage and I got 2 nice scratches running down the rear of the car. Even on the plastic part of it. Would I be able to touch-up paint it out? Its not too deep, but I can definitely feel it when I run my fingers over it..

Just ended up ordering Applied Colors: ScratchWizard http://appliedcolors.com/scratchwizard/

I'm going to check this out, and use the touch up paint for some of the other scratches I have too! Hopefully this works. I'll post pictures of the scratches tomorrow in the light!

Lol oh wow you scratched your car from a garage door also?? Yeah, I know how it feels. Bought and '06 in '06 and scratched 3 months after ownership. :/
