not a fan of the rims.. too girlyman :smile (2): ( i guess because of the flower design which was emphasized more due to the paint).. anyway, beauty is in the eye of the beholder..

You've got a nice theme with the copper and black, I really like how you've balanced it out. The chrome pillars just destroy the look for me.

Didn't know 24" rims could be "girlyman" lol, unless they specifically had a female-ish theme. Most people would interpret the design in the spokes as being a "star" as apposed to being a "flower" but I guess some people probably got teary-eyed watching the end of the Titanic too lol.

Thanks I was definitely trying to balance it out without over doing the black. I know some people really don't like the chrome pillars. I like them personally, I think chrome pillars look good on cars as long as they have chrome trim around the windows. I was thinking about taking the chrome off the pillars and having the pillars vinyl wrapped in black carbon fiber, which I think would really look good too, but since I like the chrome I'm not sure yet. Its hard to find a set of chrome pillars that don't really look "stick on" when your up close which is the main reason why I would take them off.

size has nothing to do with it (that's what she didn't say).. it could be 26" and still be girly... you see it as a star, unfortunately i see your wheel design more like a 5 spoke flower because of the roundness of the edges of your "star" design and how it was emphasized more by the paint.. not that anything is wrong with it.. i mean it's your ride, just being honest here.. :smile (2):

Loving the color combo you got goin on. what size tire did you end up getting also where the video of the muffler delete?:disapointed:

Nice...where'd u get the rims painted?

Rather not say, they did some other work for me that was kind of sloppy so, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The actual rims aren't painted though, there are plastic inserts that are removable that are painted.

Picture of the rims w/o the inserts.

Nice really like the theme...how does the muffler delete sound ..??

Thanks. I love the muffler delete, sounds really good. Its funny because today is the first time I head it from outside, after all how often do you let someone else drive your car to actually watch it pull off. It sounds good though it's not overkill, sounds the way it should have from the factory. Will post a video drive by of the exhaust sound soon.

Thanks Mike. I went with the 285/35/24 like you suggested (thanks for the advice) and I couldn't be happier no rubbing and it's far from riding on rubber bands perfect size for running 24's in NY. I will post a video of the muffler delete drive by sound soon.

Lol @(that's what she didn't say)..... nuff said. If you look at the first pic they look just like a star fish lol. In all honesty I've never heard of rims referred to as girly, especially in sizes like 24" or bigger, how often do see a female rockin that hard? (once in a blue moon).... I've seen guys with custom cars painted in candy pink or candy purple that looked really good. But to each his/her own, I'm not taking it to heart, we can agree to disagree. I appreciate the feedback, now I won't be shocked if anyone walks up to me and says "hey those rims are hot but they kinda look like a flower" Lol.

the "girlyman" was all in jest, in reference to an old snl kit (hanz and franz).. glad you are taking every criticism (at least mine) as a positive note.. as i have previously mentioned, nothing absolutely wrong with it.. i was just pointing out the fact (again, at least my own observation) of what i see.. and yes, we agree to disagree. that's why we live in this great country.. peace.. :peace:

are those chrome door sills after market or do all FX50's have them? a bit too "blingy" for my liking even though my damn FX45 had chrome EVERYWHERE but not by choice. Wheels are nice too but not my style
