I know this has been discussed before but I don't think the issue I am having has been talked about. Basically I had hubcentric 15mm spacers in the front for about 6 months now with no issues at all but right after I dropped my FX I noticed there was steering shake. I took the spacers off and now the steering shake is gone. Has anyone had this problem or know why it's happening? I really want to keep the spacers on. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks

Had my spacers for a while now with no problems and I'm about to drop mine hope it doesn't start giving me problems ....good luck with finding out and fixing the problem....that sucks

I have H&R spacers and Springs I have not had any issues. The steering wheel vibrated bc I needed to get my tires balanced other then that it was fine.

I got my tires balanced with the spacers on and it didnt correct the shake but after I took the spacers off it went away, so I am kind of confused what the problem is here.

That is strange. Did you have the spacers on very long before the drop and if they are spacers with studs built in, did you take your wheels off and retorque your spacers after you put a hundred or so miles on them. I'm just grabbing at straws but thought I would mention that, since they recommend that (that's what I did)

Try swapping the front and rear tires to see if it is a balancing issue. I know some places have trouble balancing larger wheels.

Ya I'm going to try that, do you think maybe I should just buy new spacers?
If it was okay before (for 6 months) than why should it be bad now. Did the shop have your wheels and spacers off, if so maybe it was a bad install.
I would reinstall them if they are still bad, then if possible I would try to borrow someones spacers to try them out rather than buy new ones

I have the same problem. Last week I took off both of my front rims to do some work and when I put them back I had the shake. I took the spacers off and it went away. I put them back on and the shake is back but only around 60 mph :at-wits-end: Im stumped on what to do. Ive re-torked them and everything.

are your spacers an exact match with your hub bore of your FX and of the rims. I am running a hub center ring that goes from the Infiniti 66.1mm to my Enkei GTC01 75mm bore

Fixed my steering wheel shake all I had to do was remove my spacers, much smoother now... Ahhhh
