Rim model is MSR 087
Rim diameter: 20 inches
Rim width: 7.5 inches
Bore: 60x1
Offset: 42
I am very new to the wheel shopping experience and I dont want to sacrafice ride quality.
Thank you in advance.

Are you sure you want to go with a rim that is 20x7.5? OEM is 20x8 which means your new rims wont be as wide

Kinda thin. And the center bore is wrong. Needs to be 66.1. Have no idea about offset though

^ +1 on the center bore. you'd wether have to see if you can get those wheels with the correct size or you'd have to drill it.
Offset is fine since he is getting them 0.5 thinner, they will pretty much sit just like the stock wheels, just a bit think when looking at from the rear.

wide opened wheel, would need some BBK:

Bbk??

BBK - Big Brake Kit: your stock brakes will look tiny through those opening like Soon said, so you might wanna consider upgrading your brake kit to BBKs:

Man. You guys are brutal, his wallet is gonna take a big hit with all the ideas lol

As to the bore, if it' stop small like in this case, it won't fit on the hub of the car. If it was bigger then you could get hub centric rings etc etc, but in your case wether find wheels with the right size or find a shop that can bore it out to make it fit.

LOL no one said it would be cheap. :ninja:

Usually trying to cheap out on things ends up costing more, as you can see here. Better to just buy a wheel that might be a bit more but will fit perfectly and you won't regret buying in the future.

Thank you all for the knowledge. Helped out a lot.
But for future reference, if i find wheels i like bore has to be 66, offset depending on rim width has to be between 38 and 50?
Bolt pattern 114.3,
Is that it?

That's why we're here, to share the knowledge and suggest :smile (2):. And yes on the dimensions. Also offset can be adjusted/corrected by use of wheel spacers, so you have some room to work there.

That all depends on a budget. For you being in New York, I'm sure there is a lot of wheel shops, like in LA, where you can get a decent deal on the wheel/tire package, but I'd ask any NY :iS: members. On line, starting with a manufacturer if you're set on one, eBay yay and nay, CL and forums. Obviously local will save you money on shipping costs and then finding a place to have them all mounted, so I'd start there. Hope that helps.

I meant to have tires mounted on your wheels. Unless you buy them already mounted and balanced then you can put wheels on yourself:)

just noticed a surge of repeated questions and since most are asked in newbie section, I'm guessing people can't find current answers to questions from the appropriate sections (at least at the top of the sub-forum).
