rear shocks

The pass few day I notice that when I drive.thru a patch of small pot hole I lose control of the rear of the car like it jerk to one side like it once .to fish tail or something anyone ever had this problem before the car has 76k on it and I don't have the sport package.the rear shock feel pretty stiff thanks guys
 
How many miles on the current shocks? 60K is the general rules to have them replace here.
 
That is unfortunately somewhat normal with the FX. It's probably just more apparent now that your shocks are old. The car is already underdamped in the rear even when new, so it will do that. Mine does that as well and I initially thought it was a defect, but then everyone told me it was common. New shocks will help; so will aftermarket lowering springs. My FX did it much less after lowering it. I can't wait to get my BC coilovers on to resolve this finally.
 
Really damn that suck it kind of dangerous when that happen lol I feel like I'm going to lose control or something...slip light be blinking and all lol well I guess I'm going to wait to change them out cause I wanna put drop spring hopefully that will keep her ass in control a bit lol
 
umm it feels like a hop then its normal, if it feels like the rear is escaping (lack of better word) then somebody didnt align your car right, their is actually a member here name david from missisipi who had a similiar problem and turned out to be his bearings
 
My slip turn on cause my back end loses control when I go fall in a patch.of pot holes but not all the times my rear shocks are stiff when I push down on them I get like one bounce back.
 
Doesnt matter our cars dont or have little amount of rebound, try not get into a pot hole instead try it on bad paved roads and see if the asses looses control and ur light comes on
 
Every time my back end hops around and I slip a little, the SLIP light DOES come on briefly. It lights up to tell you that traction control just kicked in.

If it stays lit up even after the event, then something is wrong with the system.

I had that problem before even Shocks just has 5000 miles on + H&R springs.
Realigment took care of that .......GL..
 
Yeah slip come on when ever your car loses grip the light flashes like two times and that's it..take a corner real hard make the ass slide a little and watch that light blink
