Mr. Clean Magic Eraser - Interior Detailing

I love Folex! It has great cleaner strength but leaves no soapy residue behind like other cleaners tend to do so in return no rinsing.

+1 for the Folex.

In terms of the Magic Eraser, like anything else, try it somewhere less noticeable first. It is a micro-abrasive, so you are basically sanding whatever you use it on.

Slightly going off on a tangent here again, but I noticed that the Leatherique cleaner cleans really well on plastic too, like scuffs and marks where a damp rag normally would not work.

This is good to know. I was concerned about it bleaching or discoloring the brick color on the speaker grills. I have used the Magic Eraser all around the house with great success, especially on the walls!

Make sure it nice a wet and don't apply too much pressure. All you need is a few light even strokes.
Folex is also works.

So I used Folex the last few days and I am very satisfied with it. My speaker cover had some stains and the carpeting in the driver area was soiled too. After using nothing but Folex, my interior looks like a brand new car. Very happy with Folex. Maybe a mod should add Folex to the title of this thread. :top:

I use FOLEX on everything can't say enough about it. I buy it by the gallon at Home Depot
FOLEX is also completely natural with no harsh chemicals. This stuff is truely amazing Iv'e never found anything that works as good.

If I were to do my headliner, I would definitely use Folex over Magic Eraser. I've used ME on my painted walls before and it's even stripped the paint a bit. You spray on the Folex and agitate the area with your fingers and blot dry with a towel. That's about it. I bought mine on eBay, but hardware stores are much more convenient

Cool, I guess I'll hit up Home Depot this weekend. My headliner is gross

Careful with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, I've been using them for years around the house to clean various surfaces like my stove top, shower base, plastic patio chairs, and refrigerator, but as mentioned above it is very abrasive, so much so that it cleans spilled burned on food from my stove top with little effort. I also use it to clean the rubber soles on my light colored sneakers since you can scrub the rubber hard with no damage. I personally wouldn't use it in the car because to much pressure with these sponges will ruin any delicate surface such as vinyl, leather, paint and so on. Perfect example, I painted the aluminum door handles in my 1st Gen FX and I used a Mr. Clean magic Eraser to strip the brushed aluminum finish down to the bare metal (because I didn't have sandpaper handy) from the pieces before painting. Excellent product for its intended purposes, just a little too good for delicate surfaces.

Just wanted to say Folex is great on laundry too. I used it on some food stains and ring around the collar on my shirts and they look new. White as can be, lol. :rotfl: :good:
