Wood Trim

Car id has dash kits all sorts of finishes, and wood colors. I don't have the deluxe package so I'm considering buying one of the packages.

Car id has some dash kits, my fx didnt come with wood trim, they have all sorts of finishes. Im contemplating getting a kit
 
Thanks. Looks like the door trim is different though. My doors have a single sweeping piece of wood trim. I'll do some more digging. I did like the carbon colored option.

2010-2012 models have plastic wood instead because the 2009's actually had real wood trim but it had peeling issues so now all the later models come with fake wood trim. Thank god mine hasn't peeled though lol. I still got the real wood trim....

He can't get rid of it cause then he wouldn't have a center console lol. The wood is part of the center console. He said he got a carbon fiber veneer which means that the carbon fiber sticks on to the existing wood.
 
whoops, thought he swaped out the actual trim. I was going to buy an aftermarket kit so I guess I will be waiting for the pictures of his carbon fiber add on.
 
I fixed mine after in July 2011 and it took them like month to get it they said it was real wood??

The paper I got in the mail says it's simulated wood meaning it looks like and feels like it but not the real thing. I guess it's the Infiniti Corporates word against the dealers word lol. Someone on here took a picture of that updated wood from the back and it is indeed plastic :shot:

If they used the same again I'm sure it would peel all over. EX and M had this problem too.
 
I love them as well, but would never get one after seeing what they look like at the autoshow.. blue Jean stains galore.
