Anyone use one? One day back to work and I have this 'no good' dusty haze all over my ride.

I use it too, but only if there has been no rain. Once water spots are on the paint the duster doesn't work anymore. I think it's perfect for dusting off a car that has been recently washed.

Ok to use lightly. One warning, do not use on your wheels to pick up brake dust. Also, mine was never the same after its first washing.

Directions say not to wash - the fibers have parafin wax inside them to help the dust stick. The package actually says the dirtier it gets, the better it works. I shake it out really well after each use but there will come a time when I just need to get a new one because the wax has grabbed all the dust it is going to grab. Haven't reached that point in three years so it's worth the price in my opinion.

I have 2 large and 1 small one and think they work great. I will really only use them for garage dust or the slight dust that accumulates on the way to a car show. If you park outside, I'd say don't bother with the duster. If you only drive a little on sunny days and park in a garage, regular dusting may allow you to not need to wash your car at all. The duster is washable but when the wax washes out of the threads, (and it will), it is not as effective.

Agreed. I think I washed one when it "got full" and then it didn't work as well.

^^^ ummm, so does that mean you don't like it Andrew
well think about it. first its clean bc its new, then you use it to collect dust, no need to clean this thing just spray it with compressed air right? give me a break. i seriously dont know how they still produce & sell this product. i guess there are enough idiots to keep this going. when i see one in a customers trunk i beg them to throw it in the garbage or they will be right back to my shop for another polish.
there is nothing good to be said about this piece of shit. its a mop head for heavens sakes that gets more dirty with each use. so yea, lets wipe dust off my car with a dirty mop head & im going to pray that it doesnt scratch? seems a little risky to me. seems like a product thats worn out its welcome in the market for many many years now.
i especially wouldnt use this on infiniti soft clears.

The smaller size works well for a quick dash dusting. Been doing this for 20+ years. Would never use it on exterior.

you can also leave a MF towel in a ziploc bag on the side of your door. also, you can keep a 2" soft bristle paint brush as well. stop at a red light, take out the MF or paint brush & wipe the light dust away.

i am in shock that they still make & sell this product. this is all just a numbers game...too many people in the world not to sell them to even a small percentage of fools that use them on theyre paint lol.

Ca duster is a great product, I think what happened was you bought the duster and used it right away. When you get the duster, you're supposed to set it out on newspapers to let it 'cure' first for at least 48 hours.

Don't be hatin on those of us that find this product usefull when used as intended.I keep micro towels ,ICE detailer and the duster in my car. Up here in the mountains we get a lot of pine tree pollen and it is much lighter than dust and can collect in just a few minutes so a quick dusting helps keep her looking sharp. I would never use the duster on a dirty car it's not meant to clean your ride only for quick touch ups to a clean waxed ride. You are welcome to your opinion but to call those of us that have used this product correctly with great results fools is not usefull or appreciated.

Nicely said :top:

I used to use it on my M, especially on heavy pollen days where it leaves that "yellow" dust of pollen. It always did a great job of sweeping it off, but i only used it when my car was washed recently and wanted to give it a quick touch up. Don't think I'd use it for the FX though.
