All of this was done by myself with no prior upholstery work. Just DIY research online

It should be all black from the factory if you have a black interior! My opinion :-)

I paid 850 to get mine done. The guy probably used same material you did and made a huge profit of me and I removed almost everything except the headliner which I was scared to touch and painted all the pieces myself

wow that looks really good david! i've been thinking about doing this to my interior as well, where did you get the suede material from?

Let me know how that paint works out for surfaces you touch. I've never been able to find a paint that works well on areas like grab handles and such. The texture has always been sort of weird. On previous cars, I tried a lot of different plastic and vinyl dyes and could never get one that I liked. I keep meaning to buy new black grab handles because the grey ones stand out a little bit from the suede headliner in my car. The price isn't too bad for new ones, but obviously paint is cheaper.

it wasnt that difficult. I still have no feeling in my right index fingertip though :( Thanks for all the comments

I used black bedliner spray on the loops around the seatbelts, all other plastic was with the other paint

I didnt reinstall the sunvisors or grab handles I did add extra support in those ares since they hold up a little bit of the top.

I love it. My sub also sounds better now or it may just be me. Carbon fiber wrapping the aluminum trim next
