What are wheel spacers?
Wheel spacers are used to assist in spacing your rim further from your hub. Modern wheel spacers are normally made out of an aluminum/magnesium alloy.

Types / Versions:
In the FX scene, commonly used wheel spacers are manufactured by H&R or Ichiba. Each company carries two types of wheel spacers.

First version is what H&R calls the DRS type (Ichiba = Version 1). With this type of spacer new extended studs are normally provided and require the removal of the factory studs.

The second type is what H&R calls the DRM type (Ichiba = Version 2). This version has studs pressed in the spacer and does not require the removal of factory studs.

Install DIY:

DRM Type -> HOW-TO - Wheel Spacer Install with Studs already in Spacer

Common Brands Used By FX'ers:
H&R -> trakplus.com
Ichiba -> http://www.ichibausa.com/default.asp

What size should I buy?
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Center Bore: 66.1mm (66.2 for H&R)
Thread: 12x1.25
Width: Only you can figure that out, based off your current wheel specs and your spacing goal. Infiniti Scene provides an offset calculator to help assist in deciding offsets -> Offset Calculator

Quick question. I'm looking for some wheel spacers so I was wondering what are the best spacers for n FX. What are the pros and cons of the two different kind of spacers. They might be a Christmas present for myself lol.

if you are using H&R DRM or Ichiba V2 spacers that are <25mm, i believe the back face of your rims have to look like this in order for there to be clearance for the original studs:

I have them installed with 20mm spacers all around and 20" stockers. No cutting required. If you go with anything below 20mm, you *may* have to cut them. If you do though, take them to a machine shop and pay them $5 to cut them for you.

I purchased 25mm and 20mm spacers from ebay. I was a little skeptical but when they arrived, the quality was really good. They are the spacers with the studs pressed in already.

They cost around 75 bucks. Been running these for almost 6 months. No shakes or vibrations.

whit the 20mm you had to shave/cut the original studs?

Many thanks

I have the Ichiba V2 25mm spacers all around and they made the wheels look great and run really good with the stock 20" I love how the FX looks now with the wheels flush with the fenders!
